Peaceful Beach Retreat

Lake Huron Beach House is located 5 Miles North of Harrisville, and just North of the Sturgeon Point Lighthouse. Pristine sand beach and water clarity. No Rocks! The Huron Beach House is a contemporary styled saltbox nestled in the trees and natural surroundings and many great views of the lake. AND....the beach is back! We have wide unhindered beaches for taking walks.

The master bedroom on the main floor, with TV, has a patio door view of the lake and an adjacent full bath. 2 bedrooms on the upper level with 3/4 bath between include 1 queen size bed on the lakeside with a wonderful view of the lake and the other bedroom has two extra long twin beds which can be combined to make one king bed. Fully equipped kitchen includes range, fridge, built-in dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and other small appliances. Washer & dryer are also available.

The open living room and dining room has gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling and more lake views. Flat screen TV with DISH Network and Internet. Large deck on the lakeside and winding boardwalk to the beach.

Beach area has lounge chairs, fire pit, picnic table with umbrella, hammock, child's swing and two kayaks for your use. Altogether, a touch of paradise.

We have rented since 2003 and always received great reviews about the home and location.

Lake Front Lake House

This house was a wonderful place to stay. Very homey, clean, and a wonderful location far enough off US 23 with no traffic noise.Out front was a long sandy beach that we walked every day. We stayed in the fall but if I needed a place to stay in the summer I would definitely come back to this house. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Perfect Hideaway

We were lucky to book a last minute get away at the Huron Beach House. Everything about the place and surrounding property exceeded expectations. Being tucked away in the woods yet right on the beach was amazing and relaxing. Our stay was comfortable thanks to all the amenities which made us feel like we were cozy at home except with an awesome view of the lake! The hosts were wonderful to work with from the start! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage ~ We've already booked our next stay :)

Fantastic location!

We absolutely loved this house. The beach & lake are gorgeous here. Iā€™ve always been a Lake Michigan fan, but this place has definitely changed my mind. I cannot wait to visit this house again next year!

Great Private Lakeside Getaway

My wife & I were extremely pleased with our stay at the Huron Beach House. The home is very well cared for and clean. The very quiet stretch of beach was amazing! Mornings spent watching the sunrise drinking coffee & evenings next to the firepit were the perfect way to relax & get away. The owner was very responsive to any of our questions/messages. We will definitely remember this property for future vacations.

Lovely getaway

It is rare to find a rental that is even better than the photos; this house is outstanding. It is clear a lot of thought and love went into the space. It is clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. The space is well set up to accommodate both adults and children. We especially appreciated the extra towel racks in the bathrooms, and the sand toys were wonderful-my 4 y/o son really enjoyed them. The beach was quiet and the sand was soft, no rocks or shells to cut little feet upon. The shallow water with a sandy bottom made for easy "swimming" with a younger child. We were initially concerned to learn the rental had no a/c, but it didn't end up being a problem as there was regularly a nice breeze off the lake. We had such a lovely time and we look forward to having the opportunity to return in the future!

Enjoyable getaway

I have been trying to find a beach house to rent that was easily accessible to get to the beach without a lot of stairs or a long walk for my elderly parents to be able to get to and enjoy. Plus having at least two bedrooms and two bathrooms that was clean and a decent price. I had read a lot of the reviews before booking this property and all the reviews were positive and accurate for what I was looking for. You can tell this property is well-maintained. It had almost all of my checkmarks checked off. I would definitely go back.

Love Lake Huron

What can be better or more restful than eating your meals while watching this always changing lake. The house is perfectly sited to have the lake right in front of you. The trees and bushes frame the view which only makes it more scenic.

Lake house 2020

This was the cleanest place Iā€™ve ever been to. The property is gorgeous. It was very quiet. We had decent weather. Kayaks were a blast. Roaring beach front fires. Beautiful sunrises. Would recommend highly.

Perfect property for a restful Up North beach experience.

Beautiful, well maintained home right on Lake Huron - great view and sounds from the lake. The house was immaculate and had everything you need to make your stay easy. Lots of toys and chairs and the kayaks are a real plus. The beach was wonderful this year and the lake water was clear and clean. If youā€™re willing to wade in up to your waste, you can walk for miles. The kitchen is well equipped with both utensils and spices. Just bring your beach towels and swimsuits. The grocery store in Harrisville will have a limited variety of staples, but its hours are also limited (closes at six pm and on Sunday). You might want to do some grocery shopping in Oscoda or Alpena before you arrive. We had a great stay and the whole family, including young adults who canā€™t seem to exist without the internet, are looking forward to returning.

Very memorable family vacation

What a gem this property is! We decided to get away for a family vacation and happened upon the perfect spot. The house was lovely and comfortable with so many little touches (night lights! outlets right by the bed to plug in phones! lots of extra sheets!). The kitchen was incredible well stocked with kitchen utensils and pots/pans which made in-home cooking very easy. The beach was also incredibly well stocked with different types of beach chairs, lots of sand toys and inner tubes. My kids (ages 6, 5, and 3) loved the beautiful sand and swimming, and my husband and I couldn't get over the view. Though there are neighbors, the property is forested enough that you feel as though you are pretty isolated. The town is very small but we enjoyed the little coffee shop, ice cream stand, and grocery store. We had a truly magical trip and would love to come back some day!
