To clarify for future guests, the home is located in a high-end hillside resort community on the Pacific Ocean side of Cabo (Quivira/Pueblo Bonito Sunset). The weather can be a little cooler than downtown Cabo and can be breezy at times. Many guests appreciate the slightly cooler, more refreshing setting. The resort area roads are nicely paved, beautifully landscaped, well lit, and well maintained. There is a dirt service road in the area, which is not the route we recommend in our arrival guide. We provide location details and driving directions in advance so guests can decide whether the property works for their plans. Regarding pets, dogs are welcome with advance notice and payment of the pet fee, which covers the additional cleaning needed for future guests, including those with allergies. We understand this setting is not ideal for every trip. Many guests enjoy the quieter resort setting, ocean views, and access to golf and community amenities. Our goal is for guests to be happy with their stay, and in this case, we made an exception to our cancellation policy and refunded the unused portion of the stay as a courtesy. We work hard to provide accurate information before arrival so guests can choose the stay that best fits their plans. While we have had fewer bookings on Vrbo, we have hosted extensively on other platforms with nearly 250 reviews and an overall rating of 4.98.
