Historic family-friendly home close to DC and UMD - long term stays only

We're a quick Metro ride or drive to downtown DC and an hour drive to Annapolis, Baltimore and Frederick. When you're not exploring, the kids can enjoy our big backyard and playroom while you grill on the deck, relax by the fire pit, or work in one of our two home office spaces. The entire family will love our cozy TV room and the tree-lined parks and playgrounds nearby.

Our house was built in 1938 and has some beautiful period features, including custom trim, original black and white bathrooms, and a real wood knotty pine family room. It is decorated in a transitional style with modern comforts that blend with the traditional style of the house. Outside, the house is surrounded by flower gardens and large front and back yards for you to enjoy, including a deck with a grill and patio with a fire pit.

We live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of families and children and many people working from home. Respect our neighbors by obeying the speed limit at all time and keeping noise levels reasonable at all times. You will see our town police force patrolling down our street to ensure everyone's safety.

Guests may not use the indoor fireplaces, but may use the outdoor fire pit. Please extinguish all fires fully before leaving them unattended. If you choose to smoke outdoors, dispose of cigarette butts property. An extra fee will be charged for butts left around the outside of the house. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND INDOORS.
