Our two level 5 bedroom Family Getaway is luxuriously appointed and sits on 150 feet of sandy lakefront.

Enter the front foyer of this security system protected home to an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room has an electric fireplace and is furnished with soft, luxurious leather and antique sofas to enjoy your view of the lake. The dining room is equipped with a large hardwood harvest type table with long matching benches that easily sits 16 persons.

The kitchen is a "Homes and Gardens" delight equipped with a built in Jenn-Air cooking system, a large stainless steel, side by side refrigerator featuring door mounted ice/water dispensers. The gourmet kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, garberator equipped double ceramic sinks and all appliances, cookware and utensils to ensure everything required to prepare and serve your favourite cuisine is at your finger tips. An additional large refrigerator is located in the main floor laundry room adjacent to the kitchen.

Enter through an open archway to the sunroom with three directional vistas of the lake and far shore. The furnishings in this room are of high quality Asian origin. Exit through one of two glass doors, one of which leads to an elevated upper deck while the other takes you to a stairway down to the lower level, covered flagstone patio.

The staircase leads to the Common Room. This room which provides additional space for lounging, faces the water and is furnished with comfortable seating and a high efficiency air tight wood stove (firewood supplied) at the other. Enjoy the charm and warmth of a wood burning stove.

Exit the Common Room to the Media Room with large 60" flat screen T/V and surround sound home theater system. This room is also furnished with a fine quality leather queen-sized sofa bed.

Our vacation home is located 1.5 hours north of Toronto, Ontario and only 10 minutes from Orillia, Ontario and the Famous Las Vegas style casino, Casino Rama. Just 20 minutes north is Gravenhurst, Ontario. We are just minutes away from some of the best golf courses and ski hills in Central Ontario's "Lake Country".

Bunkie with a 2 single bed "loft" style bunkbed, pullout sofa and TV makes the perfect retreat for teens or adults looking for a separate space away from the main house.

From the covered, flag stone patio or from the stairway leading from the upper sundeck walk down a natural stone walkway to the gorgeous natural sand beach. The waters edge is shallow, warm and gradually deepens as you walk out into the warm, welcoming waters of Lake Couchiching. No stones or rocks, just sand and water make for a very safe beachfront for children of every age. A stone patio on shore is used to accommodate outdoor campfires in the evening.
