About this property
Cozy Good Harbor Cottage with hot tub & fireplace
Welcome to our thoughtfully designed 1940's cottage in the forest just minutes from Good Harbor Beach. This quiet retreat has been lovingly restored and gives you access to the wine, food, and nature the Leelanau Peninsula is known for, while offering an elevated stay. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you might need to cook a gorgeous meal– induction stove, sharp knives, spices, and even some hand made ceramics by a local artist.
In the summer, enjoy the outdoor patio with Hay dining set, charcoal grill, fire pit, and even Bocce. There’s also a 4 season hot tub rand oversized robes ready and waiting for you.
Inside, you’ll find a cozy gas fireplace, fast wifi, Smart TV, along with a selection of curated games and books.
Each of the 3 bedrooms is outfitted with Parachute sateen linens and vintage quilts. While the bathrooms offer Aesops toiletries for a luxurious experience.
I’m a designer by trade and have spent the last 3 years carefully renovating the cottage to charish all the up north charm, and offer you an elevated stay. So please be considerate of the space, the land, and our neighbors. If you break something, you buy it.
Sorry, no parties or events.

About the host
Hosted by Anna Russell
Hi there! I'm a Michigan-born creative currently living in Brooklyn with my partner and mischievous pup. I've had the chance to stay in stunning properties around the world and love how it allows you to experience a place more as a local would. As a designer, I live for those special details that give a home a sense of place and my properties are no exception. You'll find a well-appointed space that oozes with charm and amenities.
Why they chose this property
I’ve been coming to this area since I was a tiny kid, but experiencing it again as an adult and enjoying the food, culture, and natural beauty has been such a joy.
We’re just 5 mins from the best beach (I’m biased), and 15 to both Leland and Glen Arbor. It’s perfectly tucked up the peninsula to feel quiet but close to everything you want to get to.

What makes this property unique
From the sunken living room and fireplace, to the exposed beams and original wood windows, the cottage oozes with up north charm. Yet as a designer, I’ve intentionally added luxurious touches throughout for an elevated stay - gorgeous linens and towels, freshly roasted Madcap coffee, and Aesops bath products.
The patio was added last year, with Hay dining set, charcoal grill, and even bocce from Shinola, this is the place to be when the weather’s nice.
