This room and condo development is great. The construction next door was not overly intrusive with the windows closed - they always closed down for the day before dinner so we can enjoy the balcony. My only negative is that they should have a few more blankets in the room available to the guests.

Nice lady form the rental agency , she met us at the lobby,Nice furnitures and kitchen supplies

We knew ahead of the time that the constructions next to the building is still going on.. but thankful that each days when the crews came we already up and going to places, so it really ok for us

Also, It did rain for few days, so they stopped working too

We love the location and the pools and the beaches.. it was great that you can walks along the beach each morning !

The only thing I will suggesting for this property are:

1. More towels for the guests to use

2. The pillows in the master bedroom is about time to retired them ! It is not comfortable at all

Other than these two suggestions, we will come back again

Great condo! Unfortunately the construction was a little loud.

The condo was great overall. We were greeted by a host when we came and showed us around. The resort has swimming pools, a waterslide, bbq propane grills and beautiful views. The cons were that outside our balcony there was another condo complex being built. It was a little dusty in the balcony and noisy, starting at around 6 or 7 am with all the machines beeping. We were on Pacific standard time so we were up at the time so it didn't bother us much. We were compensated for the construction in progress. Overall, it was a good sized condo and good experience.

Top notch property and management company

We are returning guests to Honua Kai and Maui Westside Properties. We will be back again for both. From the great room and choice of pools (4 huge pools) to onsite amenities nothing is better than this property.

excellent value during construction next door

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit at Honua Kai resort. Our kids loved the resort pools, and this unit had a nicely equipped kitchen that made it easy to have meals at home (definitely our preference with a 2 and 5 year old). The service from Maui Westside Properties was great as well, they gave us all the info we needed in advance of our trip and I really appreciated having someone meet us when we arrived and show us around the unit. The Cal king bed in the bedroom was incredibly comfortable. The beach towels and beach chairs were great to have as well.

The view overlooked the large construction site for the neighboring property, but this was fully disclosed in the listing and I know from shopping around that the unit was discounted accordingly, so we really didn't mind this. The construction could be loud if you stood out on the lanai, but with doors shut the sound didn't bother us, and the A/C worked well so we had no issues with keeping things closed during the construction work hours.
