Great for families!

We loved the Honua Kai! This unit was quiet and had a great view out on the lanai. We saw whales from our balcony! The resort was perfect for families. Our kids loved the various pools. One thing we really enjoyed is the location to the food truck park. We ate there about 5 times and felt the food was hands down the best out of everything we ate in Hawaii! Also the little shopping center across the street had a great pizza place and shaved ice! we loved our stay here. Thank you so much!

Great Christmas vacation !

Honua Kai was just perfect for our vacation. Unit was clean and properly stocked with everything you need. Having stayed at this resort multiple times, this location was easily one the the quietest we’ve had. Looking forward to our next trip to Maui. -B

Great place to stay

Everything was great with this place! The condo has a lot of amenities like a gym, a general store, pools, hot tubs, restaurant, equipment rental, etc. this is also in a great area and was within walking distance to a grocery store and a food truck park. Very clean and well stocked. Good communication with owner.

Very nice

This condo was very nice; well maintained, clean and great location. The property manager, Farzie have very precise check on instructions. Highly recommend this pepper.

Great View!

Great location and great view. The resort is really nice with lots of food within walking. Store onsite is also nice. We really liked it. Condo had everything you would need. The only thing we did not like is out of the owners control and did not directly affect us in any way. The public restroom below had many vagrants.

Great condo, ocean views. The sunsets from the lanai were amazing. Well stocked and comfortable. Beach chairs and mats were handy.

Overall a great place to stay! Close to restaurants, groceries. The gym and pools were great! Duke's takes poolside orders!

Beautiful Waterview with exceptional accommodations

The one bedroom condo does not feel cramped and has a nice northern exposure of the water making it easy to see whales. It’s well furnished with everything you need even with chairs etc. to go to the beach. Honua Kai is a high-end property with everything you could need, including easy access to Dukes restaurant. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Dream Maui Resort

Our trip to Maui was everything we every dreamed of. The resort was absolutely beautiful. The Condo was exactly as described and the owner was wonderful in communicating and making sure we were taken care of. I would recommend 10/10 to anyone coming for a visit.

Spectacular Condo

We had the best time at this condo! It was clean, perfect location and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation in Maui! You can snorkel with sea turtles right in front of the house too. Dukes on site was amazing and the service was even better. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Location

The condo was great and as described. Well appointed and the communication with the property manager was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to go to Maui. The property was real nice as well with Dukes just a few steps away.

Fantastic Maui Condo

Our family had an amazing time at the Honua Kai resort in Maui. This condo was located in a fantastic spot with an amazing view. All the things we would expect were there as well as some lovely additional items that made our beach days that much more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in Kaanapali area.

Fabulous place to stay!

As an STR owner ourselves, it was certainly nice to come to a place that had everything as described. The resort is great with many nice pools and the beach is right there for that morning walk and sunset view. The Unit was Very clean, with all the things you need to cook with, beach chairs in closet and our absolute favorite, was seeing the whales from the balcony (so many whales). Farzie, the host, was very attentive and made sure we had all the information we needed before and during our stay. Our anniversary trip was nothing short of amazing. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

Nice last minute Condo

Last minute booking at honua kai. Nice place overall. Room was as described. Patio had partial view of ocean. Nice comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Didnt use kitchen but seemed good. Convenient to have laundry if needed. Extras were appreciated- snorkel gear, chairs and boogie board!

Amazing Resort and Condo!

I spent months researching my trip to Maui, I was originally going to stay at a 5 star hotel/resort. I found this listing and cancelled my hotel and booked this condo. I was extremely satisfied with my decision!! The condo was large, beautiful, and had all the amenities that we needed. The resort has gorgeous grounds, pools, and beach. We checked out multiple other facilities while on island and continued to say Honua Kai was much better. You will not be disappointed staying here!!

I wonderful place to relax with family!

Honua Kai resort has pretty much everything you need right on the beach. So we spent more time hanging out there than what we have traditionally done on trips to HI. Property is well kept with a plethora of activities from swimming at the multiple pools/slide to snorkeling at the beach (there are turtles there!). The owner of this unit takes very good care of it and is very responsive. We had a sink back up in the kitchen and it was fixed within a couple of hours! A great host and would definitely stay there again.

Best Condo in Maui

Loved the condo we stayed in this trip to Honua Kai. It has to have the best view of all the one bedrooms! It was clean and spacious; well equipped with everything we could ask for in a vacation condo. I liked the location of the condo since it is extremely quiet and has the great view. The resort itself is spectacular with all the pools and tropical foliage. Love Duke's! Had many meals there on this trip. Their mac-nut pancakes are better than the Gazebo with no waiting and a better view. We enjoyed the condo and resort so much we spent most of our time there. The reservation process was a breeze. Thanks for sharing your lovely condo with us.

Loved our stay at Honua Kai

We just got back from a truly wonderful week at the Honua Kai. This is a beautiful resort. This room is beautiful as described and the view from the balcony is amazing. We looked forward to sitting on the balcony every morning to eat our breakfast and enjoy the ocean view. The condo was really clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed. Farzie was extremely attentive to our needs and made our stay a pleasure. We actually had the chance to meet Farzie and her sister as they were also staying at the resort. They were both very nice and very helpful. Things we enjoyed at the resort: Snorkeling on the beach (in my opinion better than Molokini), sitting by the pool and walking on the beach walk every morning to Black Rock and Whaler's Village. We also liked the location with lots to do and see nearby (Lahaina, Whaler's village and other great snorkeling beaches). We loved it here so much we decided to come back next year to see the whales. Farzie thank you for everything. We can't wait to come back next year!

Poolside service from Duke's restaurant is an added bonus.
Honua Kai is beach front for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, and just enjoying the scenery.
Dukes restaurant is on site.
Direct access to the beach-walk which will take you all the way down Ka'anapali Beach from one end to the other. Walk to Whalers Village restaurants and shopping.
Honua Kai offers the perfect venue for memorable vacations for couples, and for families with children.

Ocean views from all windows, quiet and relaxing. Listen to the ocean waves. The '48 stack of condos in the new Konea building is the closest stack of 1 bedroom units to the beach at Honua Kai. We have one of the closest and nicest ocean views of any 1 bedroom condo in the Honua Kai complex.
When we vacation in Maui the proximity to the ocean, and the view and sounds of the beach are important to us. This unit offers the best there is.
