This was a nice place for us to stay. There was a little hiccup the day we arrived but the host corrected the matter promptly. We were very grateful for the quick response. Worked perfectly for our trip.

The house was spacious and peaceful. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, and the house needed a deep cleaning. I resent paying the cleaning fee when shoes were needed to keep our feet clean in the house.

I will start by saying the host was very responsive to our issues. They took care of the items that could be resolved during our stay and kept in communication with us throughout our stay. The house itself is in a state of disrepair (vinyl floor lifted in several areas, outlets broken /unusable, walls with holes, backyard full of weeds and uninviting). It needs some TLC. It's an older home, so describing it as "modern" is misleading. The house was mostly clean - the exception being a dirty comforter that was stored in the hallway cabinet. The beds had a waterproof fitted sheet underneath which made them uncomfortable and noisy whenever you moved around, but we didn't take them off, as we weren't comfortable doing so. There are no grab bars in either shower / bath, which made both bathrooms unusable for my elderly mother to take a shower. The house is in a great location, quiet older neighborhood, and is a decent size. With a bit of effort and some minor investment in more / better amenities this could be a nice rental (for example, none of the bedrooms has a dresser or even a luggage rack, so we had to live out of suitcases on the floor; no mirrors in the 3 bedrooms that share 1 bathroom so had to take turns; no extra blankets; and could use a chair in the master). Again, the host was great -sent an HVAC tech over immediately to fix the broken furnace (first night was COLD) and delivered some missing amenities. I hope this is constructive for the house and future guests.

Sauna - No Discount, yet...

We arrived Tuesday around 10 p.m. for a five-night stay. Check-in was smooth and the home was easy to access. We settled in and set the AC to “AUTO” as instructed. The home was warm, but we went to bed hoping it would cool overnight. The AC seemed to work, but by 11 a.m. the next day, the inside temp was rising with the outdoors. At 1 p.m., it was 84 inside. I called and messaged management, finally getting a reply near 10 p.m. saying it was “normal” and just needed time to catch up.Well... it never did.The house hit 87 inside. It consistently stayed about 4 cooler than outside, and we don’t think the AC was working at all. Locals said it was the first time they'd used AC in 2025—maybe it was still hibernating. Communication with management was polite, but action didn’t happen until day three. We were miserable—especially with three guests over 70—and hoping for a restful break between travel weeks.Other options were limited. Rentals were booked, and hotels didn’t have space for our group. A day before departure, management let us know the entire AC unit needed replacement—scheduled for the day after we left.We understand things happen. But the thermostat showed two overdue maintenance alerts from 2024. A simple check could’ve saved this sweaty adventure. We bought box fans and powered through.Other notes:Front door had pry marks; backyard gate was broken.Trash bins were overflowing with nowhere to put ours.Master bedroom pillow had a mystery stain No(we did
