The home was perfect for 4 couples to reconnect and enjoy each others company. The house was impeccably clean and well organized. Lake Michigan is a short walk away and there are many hikes including Hoffmaster State Park within a short drive. Wonderful experience!

We cannot say enough good things about this home! The pictures don’t do it justice. The house was perfect for our large group, and so was the location. We enjoyed riding our bikes and hiking to the beach near by. We highly recommend!!

We had a great stay! We were up with the family for our dads 90th birthday. There was plenty of space for our extended family and the proximity to the beach and other attractions was great. Our host made herself accessible for any thing we needed. We will definitely look to stay at Lake Michigan Nest in the future!

Great house with so much space. Five bedrooms and three separate areas to spread out and relax. The host provided everything we needed, baby essentials, kids' toys, games for both adults and children, coffee, comfortable beds and lots of pillow and blankets. The playground in back of the house was great, and the firepit was really nice!! Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to use it, but it was a perfect setup. Close to Grand Haven, Fruitport and Muskegon, with lots of shopping and dining options. Our Girl's Trip, with girl's ranging in age from 4 to 87 all had a wonderful time. All the turkeys and deer in the neighborhood were fun too. Enjoyed our long weekend and would definitely rent this house again.

Quick wedding weekend getaway

The Nest was beautiful and even better than the listing photos! It's on the coolest property with a park literally in the backyard. I wish we would've had time to enjoy the fire pit because it was so cute! Everything was clean and well maintained.

The positives: Spacious house, nice pocket playground close, hot tub and fire pit. The negatives: House is in need of some good repairs and updates. The floors were very dirty when we arrived; bare feet were black in minutes. The tub upstairs did not drain properly. A vent fan in the downstairs bathroom fell from the ceiling; notified the host and were asked to leave it down during the visit instead of fixing it. There were many spiders, spider webs, and bugs inside the house. We wanted to use the hot tub after our long travel day, but it had not been cleaned yet.

Excellent Experience

Not only did Megan, our host, go above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, but she was also very open about answering questions about the property before our arrival. This place was perfect for our needs and we hope to return someday. The kitchen and linen cupboards are well-stocked and made our stay that much easier and enjoyable. If you're a nature lover, you'll enjoy the backyard and the abundance of wildlife we encountered, such as deer, turkeys, black & grey squirrels, chipmunks, etc. I highly recommend this property for any medium-sized group looking for a comfortable and rewarding stay in the Muskegon area.

Beautiful house, great location

We had a large group (12), ages 7 months to 60 years! The house was perfect ... space for all of us to hang out and plenty of bathrooms. The decor was beautiful! The backyard was awesome. We used the fire pit for s'mores, and the private park was SO perfect. Kids loved the playground, and the adults loved the pickleball court. An added bonus was all the kids' toys available in the basement ... my girls especially loved the Barbie house, as they brought Barbies to play with.Super close to the beach (which was also beautiful and not busy) with easy parking, and beach chairs and beach toys ready for you in the garage. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to vacation in Norton Shores!Megan is an excellent host and made our stay great.

Lots of space, plenty of amenities and paper goods, kitchen stocked with appliances and utensils and coffee pods. Lots of towels for bath and hot tub. Kids took over the lower level and adults had the main floor so really nice for visiting and hanging out. Pool table in garage was a bonus. Walk to beach was longer than we anticipated when we booked based on description but it was worth it. Very nice shady walk and private, sandy, clean beach mostly to ourselves. Pickleball and tennis every morning was awesome - nice to have very close by! Saw herds of deer and turkeys every day too all throughout backyard. Only small complaint is the big daddy long leg spiders are really prevalent in the back deck sitting area with so many webs everywhere, but they probably helped keep the mosquitoes down! We sat out there anyways but the kids were not big fans.

Exactly what we needed for a family get-together. Plenty of space to hang out, fully stocked kitchen, lots of fun things like pool table in the garage, amazing hot tub, fire pit, gorgeous wooded grounds, playground right there, and neighborhood semi-private beach a short bike ride away. We had an amazing time and couldn't have asked for anything more!
