Welcome to Huron Haven! This recently updated beachside paradise is situated at the heart of the Sunrise Coast. With its prime location between Oscoda and East Tawas, it's a 3-minute drive to downtown Oscoda and 15-minute drive to downtown East Tawas. The best part, you don’t have to leave to enjoy the best beach on Lake Huron! It has a sand volleyball area, fire pit and private beach to enjoy with your family and friends. Come fall in love with sunrises over Lake Huron in Oscoda, MI!

Host was super responsive, everything was very clean, beach was a dream! Location waa fantastic too. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen very well appointed and they even had luggage stands - nice touch.

Perfect family getaway

We travel with our adult kids and their spouses every year for a quick get away. Our stay in the updated, clean and well appointed home was just what we needed. Will definitely keep in mind for a future get away- maybe in the summer to enjoy the lake.

This is our second year at this beach cottage -- last year all family members (young kids {10 in age],teens, adults) had such a great time we decided to book it again. For our family group, the most outstanding features are the beautiful sandy beach with a gentle slope, and the game tables in the garage which feature air hockey, table tennis, and foosball. The cottage was clean and inviting and conveniently located near Oscoda and just a short drive to Tawas. We also enjoyed being close to the AuSable River and canoed it last year and kayaked it this year. Hiking trails nearby were also fun. Our host was gracious, responsive, and a pleasure to interact with. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this cottage.

Oscoda Beach Cottage

The property was very nice and clean. Excellent beach and plenty to do. Located very close to Oscoda and still close to Tawas if we wanted to stop in there. Questions were answered quickly and follow-up was great. I highly recommend this property.

The home really did exceed our expectations! The views were gorgeous, and although the weather was cool (we stayed end of May) it was very relaxing. Being seniors, we loved the fact that the home is ranch-style. It was very clean and provided plenty of linens and the kitchen had pretty much everything you would need to prepare meals. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, this property was perfect for our family beach vacation. The beach in front of the cottage was near a sand bar so was the slope was gradual and gentle. We enjoyed the game room with table tennis, footsball, and air hockey. The place was inviting, clean, and had all the amenities. Our activities included canoeing the beautiful Ausable River, hiking in the National Forest, shopping in Tawas, ice cream at the Parskside Dairy Shoppe. Mostly we just enjoyed the water and beach right in front of the cottage. Very pleasant and relaxing vacation.

My family absolutely loved our stay! The home was very clean. The layout of the house gave plenty of options to spend time together as a family while also offering enough places to spread out if you need space. The beds were so comfortable. The beach was quiet and absolutely gorgeous!!! There were so many things that added to the experience… plenty of towels AND beach towels, well-stocked coffee station in a well-stocked family-friendly kitchen, charging spots on each nightstand, and so many outdoor extras (games, paddle boards & kayaks with life jackets, kites & sand toys, beach chairs). The host was very responsive to questions and very helpful. We would absolutely stay again!

Our family of 7 (5 adults, a 4-year-old and 10-month-old) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The beach and the lake were amazing, as were the various areas on the property to enjoy. The grassy backyard was great for our 4-year-old grandson to run and play on, and he enjoyed the air hockey table in the garage. The firepit area was great for our bonfire night with s’mores, and the platform between the cottage and lake with blue chairs on it was perfect for stargazing on a few clear nights. The cottage owner Jarrett was very responsive to any questions we had, and was very accommodating. All in all, a wonderful week of vacation in a beautiful spot!

Our stay was outstanding, one of the best Vrbo rentals ever! The place was immaculately clean, accurately described in the listing, and communication was perfect (not too much, not too little). We had 6 adults and 4 children with plenty of space. This place had the best beds and linens, we all talked about how well we slept. It rained for us a few days, but there were plenty of places to play games or do puzzles. Very best part was the private beach on lake huron, tried standup paddle boarding for the first time (kids were great at it, adults failed ) and each night we had a relaxing stroll down the beach. Loved this place and would highly recommend.
