Newly remodeled cabin located close to town but semi secluded. Come see the beautiful sunset and the stars in the night sky. This cabin has all the conveniences of home. Great place to stay while in the area for hunting, hiking, vacationing and visiting family. Fire pit and grill area. New appliances including gas range, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, washer/dryer, linens/bedding towels/washcloths, dishes and cooking pans and utensils, satellite TV, smart TV, wireless Wifi provided. Key pad entry. Enjoy the many activities located nearby such as hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, Amish community, etc. The owner lives nearby to help with anything you may need during your stay.

Excellent Stay

Had a great experience staying at this cozy, updated log cabin. Is very clean, has a nice outdoor ambiance, clear instructions/communication prior to arrival, and nice amenities. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future when we are back in the area.

Great Cabin Getaway

Clean and spacious cabin. Beautiful front porch sitting areas. Loved the fire pit and the smores kit! Comfy beds. Owners were very accommodating & close by. We even stayed an extra day. We will return on our next visit to Ohio!

Cattle Family Stay

Perfect location for us showing cattle that weekend at the fairgrounds. My daughter appreciated the snack bin and s'mores kit. We appreciated the ice and bottles of water. Great stay and would book again if we are in the area.

Great Stay

Cabin was very clean! Requested extra towels, they were provided. Bed was comfy. Snacks and water were an excellent touch. Location was close to town but far enough out to be private. Food delivery options available. Had a great couple of days!

This is my second stay at this location and their will be a third and fourth, etc etc. AC is top notch and its a nice quiet and isolated and only 9 mins from McDonalds, Wendys, KFC and more. We enjoy watching movies in the living room and if you sleep on the first floor you do not hear the people ond the second floor and vica versa. 2 thumbs up

Paradise cabin

The cabin was the perfect place to get away from city life and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country for our first week as newlyweds. Christie and Kelly were the best hosts, always providing firewood and fixings for s’mores! Couldn’t think of a single thing that was missing for our stay!

10/10 experience

We stayed for a weekend to celebrate my birthday and we loved it. Home was well stocked with linens and was so quiet and homey. There was a sweet farm cat who came and sat on the porch with us who ended up having kittens during our stay. The shower was so hot and the water pressure was great. The bed was very comfortable. The view was beautiful. We will definitely be back, we loved this trip.

We really enjoyed our stay. Christi was very wonderful to work with. The cabin was very clean. Christi gave us some wonderful suggestions regarding what we could do in the area. Our grandson loved the fire pit and making s’mores. The beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend this cabin!

Girls Trip 2024

Very impressed with cabin. Very beautiful and welcoming. Very clean and snacks, water, smores were left for us, not to mention fire wood in the fire pit ready for us to light up. Beds were super comfy. We will definitely be back next year. We all loved it that much.

We just needed to getaway! So racking my brain on where or what I got on VBRO and just looked for a nice cabin to stay at! Didn’t care where in Ohio! I stumbled on this cozy cabin! So grateful I did! It’s even better in person! We had a wonderful time the owners personal little touches made it so welcoming! Book it! You won’t regret it! We are going to come back again!

We we training at local facility

The house hsd everything we needed and more. We were doing some outside training about 15 minutes away and it was just a few minutes to town for food. The only negative i will give is its a little dark on the inside but not a big deal. Kitchen was great and the bedrooms were fantastic as you could not hear the people upstairs in the downstairs bedroom. Super peacefull outside with really nice porch futnature. All the livingroom furniture was very comfy and the AC worked great. Already looking to book again for another class.

Second Stay Was Just As Amazing As The First!

After staying here a few weeks ago, my wife and I didn't hesitate to book it again when in town. Pulling into the driveway was like coming back home again! The cabin was just as we had left it, including the kitty lounging on the porch. The S'more kit awaited us on the counter, and a fire was already made up, waiting to be lit. Plenty of extra wood too, which we put to good use for a cookout and a night of relaxing around the large fire pit. The place was clean and just as spotless as last time. A beautiful, well-maintained private cabin, with plenty of outdoor seating for long hours of relaxing on the porch. The owners even texted us to let us know about a local car show event, which was a nice touch. It was another perfect stay from start to finish. Don't hesitate to book this place, you won't regret it.

Family Weekend in West Union

My nephew and I traveled to Weet Union for some training. We decided to stay in a rental rather than a hotel. We can’t say enough about how much we loved the property. Check-In was super easy. The owners sent a very detailed message with instructions the morning of check-in. Upon arrival we met their son who was just finishing cutting the grass and getting things ready for us. We got settled and hit the local Walmart to grab some food and supplies. (It’s only 3 miles away) The cabin was very nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, and anything you need to cook. The beds are comfortable. I can’t think of one thing I would change. I assure you I will be bringing my wife and kids down for a long weekend next year. We enjoyed a fire every evening in the fire pit. I did feel bad for burning so much wood so we went and bought firewood for the second night. The owner even left supplies to make smores. So nice. Thank you again for hosting us and I look forward to our next trip.
