Peaceful setting with a charming, well-equipped cottage that sleeps 4 comfortably and is located on a secluded and rare Lake Superior pebble beach. We are sparkling clean, wi-fi equipped, and well-behaved dog-friendly . Enjoy the beautiful Big Lake from your panoramic beach or from the deck overlooking it. This cozy retreat is just a short drive east from Grand Marais near Judge Magney State Park. Gorgeous in any season, this home sparkles from Spring to Fall with a variety of stunning flowers and foliage. Enjoy a peaceful, soul-renewing stay among the graceful northern pines, beautiful changing colors, soaring eagles and a sky full of stars. 2 bedroom, 1 bath for 4 (possibly 5) guests . We are able to accept approx 15 bookings each year during June-Oct, so if you have specific dates in mind, please contact us early. We look forward to hosting you at Twelve Mile Rock!

We were amazed at the simple, stark beauty of this property, the pebble peach and its relative privacy. Every time we are here we feel renewed. It makes us happy to read the many comments in our guest book and find that others experience that same kind of renewal here.

What makes this property unique

It is rare to be able to walk along Lake Superior on a relatively flat pebble beach for more than a mile. You can do that from Twelve Mile Rock walking West. It is exquisitely beautiful along this stretch of Lake Superior - peaceful and calming to the soul. We have also enjoyed lovingly caring for this cottage.
