Ocean Trillium is a great place in a fantastic spot along A1A. On the beach and close to Flagler Ave with lots of restaurants close by. The condo was fantastic - exactly as advertised.
We had a wonderful spring break. Room was nice and had a fantastic view. Only thing missing was a hairdryer. We did not pack one expecting this to be provided. But otherwise a great experience.
Great location and a great view of the beach. The pool was very well maintained, but the building is a little worn. The room was a pictured but the beds are not good, the sliding glass door to the balcony was very hard to open and close and the chairs out there were not good for sitting and no table. The AC makes a terrible noice when it comes on and remains very loud.

View
The view is from the side of the building. You do see the ocean, sunrise and the moon over the water! But you also see the building next to you right on. The view from the bedroom was of the building across from you. Only the water if you are standing by the window. The light on the balcony was out, a light bulb in the bathroom, one of the living room lamps and the light over the table were burnt out. The building could have been better keep up. The pool was not clean and very cold! A table and chairs to eat on the balcony and a small table between the chairs that were there would be a huge plus! Also a couple chairs for the beach would be nice.
Pros of this property: perfect setting and fantastic view. Really enjoyed getting acquainted with New Smyrna Beach and all it has to offer. The property was reasonably clean and comfortable. The furniture is old and needs cleaning/updating, but clearly the kitchen has been updated as well as the flooring. The nonstick pans in the kitchen are horrible (we like to prepare some of our meals in the condo, so this was disappointing.) Cons: communication with the host was not always helpful. Her vacation rental company uses its own billing system, but that was not explained to us. We realized a few weeks before our vacation that we had not been billed and were frantically trying to make sure that we had a place to stay. It was very hard to get an answer. We had been issued a bizarre parking pass, an 8 1/2 by 11 laminated sheet that we were supposed to put on the driver's side dashboard. It was impossible to drive with that sheet in place, so we would move it. On the one day that we forgot to put it in place (it was clearly visible on the back seat), the owner of Ocean Trillium started towing all the vehicles that didn't have a permit in the driver's side dash. We were not the only ones having trouble with the makeshift permits because several vehicles of people who were renting there and legitimately parked were towed. It cost us 40 for an Uber, several hours of a vacation day, and 150 to get our car back. So far, no one has offered us any compensation. We won't be back.
