I hosted a large group of people in asheville, for my son's wedding, and 16 of them stayed in this house with me and everyone was so impressed with how clean it was, how beautiful it was, how convenient it was, how well stocked the kitchen was! Everything worked out beyond our hopes, and everyone wants to come back! We plan to book for Easter!

This was our fourth year at The Escape with our children and grandchildren. The spaces are perfect for crafting, puzzling and eating! Great yard space and convenient location. It is exactly as described. Enjoy, we certainly do. Great hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and spacious. We enjoyed all the seating for eating, inside and outside. The kitchen has a nice open concept for everyone to gather, while we were cooking. We also really enjoyed the ping pong table. The beds were comfy and the ceiling fans were a nice addition, even though the A/C was great. The location is pretty good, just a lot of windy roads to get there. There was a grocery store and gas station within 10 minutes.

This place is AMAZING. We were able to use the property for our wedding and it was nothing short of magical. The fire places, the porches, so many seating areas inside and out…we never wanted to leave!

Great getaway location!

Jason was a great host, very responsive and loved the place. I will be returning sometime soon and visit other great locations for hiking and waterfalls around the place.

Great location

Perfect vacation for family and friends. Location was great for traveling around Asheville yet still having privacy and quiet evenings. Loved the screened in porch! The beds were comfortable, house was clean and the owner was quick to answer any questions or concerns. Highly recommend this place!

Family friendly retreat

We enjoyed our stay The Gables! The property is beautiful and very spacious. We had a slight issue when we got in, but the owners were quick to respond and went above and beyond to fix the issue. Our family enjoyed time here and it was surely a vacation to remember.

Great home away from home

From start to finish the whole stay was 5 stars. Great communication, location close to anything needed and the house itself was beautiful. There was nothing else we could’ve asked for, and we were extremely happy about the amenities and the layout/space of the house. If we were to visit the area again soon would definitely stay here.

We stayed here for our elopement on the blue ridge parkway with our family and friends. We had about 17 people and it was absolutely perfect to accommodate everything. Highly recommend

Great 4th of July!

Stayed over 4th of July weekend and had a great time! Plenty of space for multiple families/kids. Screened in porch and outdoor firepit were excellent. Not super close to Asheville but a nice secluded area.

A Wedding to Remember!

We loved our stay here! We were married on the property, joined by our family and friends. This home is beautiful, and was just what we needed to celebrate our special day! The location is perfect, close enough to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Thank you for hosting us. We would highly recommend vacationing here!

Family vacation

This was our second year at this house and it was perfect for our family once again. Our contacts with the owner were met promptly and exceeded our expectations. We all hope to return next year. The location is great for all sorts of outdoor activities.
