This large oceanfront penthouse boasts amazing ocean views with floor to ceiling glass windows that line the back of the entire condo. The condo also features a huge balcony with plenty of room to sunbathe and separate area with table and chairs. ***CAROLINA DUNES IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING REPAIRS TO ALL BALCONIES (BALCONIES ARE CLOSED) COMPLETION OF THE REPAIRS IS EXPECTED BY THE 2ND WEEK OF JULY 2025. Spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and beach will make you wish you could stay forever! Make yourself at home in this luxurious 3 bedroom penthouse condo! Large kitchen with beautiful granite countertops, full sized washer and dryer, flat screen TVs, two living rooms and an oversized balcony gives plenty of room for you and your guest to enjoy your Myrtle Beach vacation. This three bedroom condo has a king bed in the master/ full bath, second bedroom a king bed with an attached bathroom, and the third bedroom has two twin beds.

The Carolina Dunes is located in the prestigious Golden Mile section of Myrtle Beach, known for being centrally located to all the Myrtle Beach attractions, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and within walking distance of two restaurants, a bar and Starbucks! The Carolina Dunes also offers a Large outdoor pool and sunning deck with tables, umbrellas and chairs kiddie pool, courtyard, private walkway to the beach, outdoor showers, lobby, luggage carts, free wifi and onsite parking.

The manger was very responsive. The condo has AMAZING views! We stayed a whole month and had to purchase the following items:- Mattress toppers for both king beds. The beds were so hard our hips hurt each morning.- Frying pan- the ones provided the coating was flaking off.- Hand towels for the kitchen. There were only a couple towels and they were cheap ones.-Comforter for both beds- the ones that were there were very thin and scratchy. - Knife set. The ones provided were very poor and would not work.-Bath towels. The ones provided were very cheap. They were very small, and very scratchy. - Rugs for the bedrooms and both bathrooms. There were none provided.If you were only staying a week, these things would not be a big deal. But if staying longer, you may want to bring these items. The location was great! The views were great! The area was safe and quiet for the time of the year we were there. Also, there was min. rugs. There was one small rug near the dining room that had a huge stain on it and very dirty. There was a large area in the spare bedroom that had a hole in the drywall. The trim on the condo was quite beat up as well. The condo was not very clean. The day we got there I spilled my water, and grabbed a towel real quick to mop, and the towel was dirty! At the end of each day our socks were black.BUT, if you are looking for a great view, great area, and a great getaway, and you bring a few things with you. This is definitely the place for you!

The penthouse was very nice. Open and spacious. Extra large balcony was a plus complete with patio table, 6 chairs and 2 lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time staying here and would definitely come back! Great communication with management company. Only issue is I rode my motorcycle down and didn’t know I couldn’t park at the rental property, totally my fault though cause that is very common in Myrtle Beach. That info should be more prominent I guess cause I thought I read everything but regardless we had an amazing time!!

Definitely would recommend this unit, it was very nice. It was clean, and had what we needed. Right on the beach, and a fantastic area. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked for making meals. Washer and dryer right in the kitchen which was nice also. We did laundry most days so we didnt have to do as much when we got home. The balcony was intially closed for repairs when we got there, which we were aware was possible, but was cleared by code enforcement and opened back up which was exciting. They had to replace electrical boxes one day so the power was out, but texted to see if we needed ice or anything else so they were on top of it. We totally get things need handled, and it really was not a big deal, I felt the property handled it fine. The area is great, so much to do. I feel like we could go back again and do something different everyday. The location around the room was peaceful, the beach was not overly crowded and the water was warm. Luxury Beach Rentals kept us in the loop with text messages and were very responsive. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Spacious Room w/ Beautiful View

We enjoyed our stay. The room has huge with beautiful views and had everything we needed. Communication with property manager was good. There was an issue with the building when we arrived which resulted in all the balconies at the property being closed from Friday afternoon until Monday morning. Also, a truck was parked in our designated parking spot from the time we arrived until Sunday afternoon. Nothing was done about it despite “towing enforced” signs everywhere in the parking lot. I was also recommended to put a polite note on the truck’s windshield that they were in parked in the wrong spot, which I refused to do as it should not have been my issue to deal with it. On the whole, we were satisfied with the stay.

Location and quality

We were able to rent an extra night which helped our schedule. Communication with the leasing company was very efficient. The location is great and views wonderful. Kitchen is nicely supplied with everything we needed. W9uld recommend.

Significantly overcharged for Damages

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay during our time at Carolina Dunes. However, they overcharged us for damages that were not entirely our fault. There was previous drywall damage done to the wall and my daughter pressed on it and accidentally opened it up. There was also previous mirror damage in one of the rooms and they charged us for it when we didn't do it. The drywall hole was the size of a golf ball and the mirror was not our fault. The total they charged us was $666. They took financial advantage of us after we were gone and unable to defend ourselves.
