1st floor condo in a very family oriented resort that offers many quality amenities that allows you to stay on site . You will have many options to fill your stay with priceless memories. Our condo receives updates almost every year.: two updated bathrooms and new kitchen, new luxury vinyl floors, new bedroom and great room furniture . The deck has new composite decking and a bar height counter with high chairs. This offers a great view of the courtyard and large pool / water slide/ minimal ocean view. The baseboard has been replaced in the entire unit. There is a walkway from your front door to the beach, less than 800 feet. The boardwalk to the beach has been extended, giving you easier access. The beaches are large, very clean and the ocean is usually user friendly.

The owner of codo was very nice. The staff was way to aggressive and unfriended. Reminded me of that old gym teacher that I didn't like in high school running around blowing their whistle yelling at people. They refused to give us 1 extra wristband basically told us to deal with it. The slide in the pool we're nice it was a very long walk to the beach.Public bathrooms were dirty and smelled.Bugs were very bad we all had several bits.

Very clean, kitchen well supplied, would stay here again. Swimming pool was wonderful. The red flag was out at the beach no big deal just stayed at the pool, grandkids loved the water slide. Nice breeze from the ocean all day.

Spring break vacation

We stayed here for 5 nights with our 6, 4, and 2 year old. We all had a great time on the property. The unit had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

A very concerned and helpful owner.

I am not a beach person but came to be able to watch my grandson play football at a local high school. I was there mostly by myself but enjoyed having the larger place because I was able to have two family visitors for a few days. Support from front office people and owner was terrific and I enjoyed watching the people going down the slide into the big pool and having so much fun.

Great place to stay!

It’s a short walk from the condo to the beach. There are indoor and outdoor pools, a mini golf course, and a playground, which is plenty to keep the kids entertained! The condo itself is well stocked and comfortable. It’s a great place to bring the family!

Week at the beach

A Place at the Beach is a great place to stay with your family. The amenities and location are perfect. This particular rental was clean, conveniently located within the resort and made the time spent inside feel like home. I would recommend this place!!

Great time at the beach

We’ve stayed at this complex many times, but this was our first time in this specific condo. The location was really nice - not too far from the pool, beach, or parking lot. The condo was updated and clean. It was a nice fit for our family of six. Communication with our host was good and he was very responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

The pool was closed

The rental was nice and the owner was responsive: we were very disappointed with the resort for advertising such a beautiful resort pool with water slide…. Not open and no explanation. The whole focus of the advertisement was the pool area. So we got to look at the pool from our “pool view room “.

A great stay at the beach

Atlantic Beach is a fun family destination and A Place At The Beach is a great place to stay and enjoy it. The pools, common spaces and boardwalks to the beach were clean, nice and well-maintained. Paul and Deb's place was comfortable and had everything we needed and they were gracious hosts. Would definitely recommend for a family beach vacation!

Great Option for Families

This is our third stay at APATB, and the resort is great for families with kids – always something to keep everyone entertained and happy! We noticed an increase in resort staff this year which we appreciated – everything felt a little cleaner and better taken care of. The outdoor pool is always a hit with the slide and plenty of seating, and the indoor pool is a great option when the weather is questionable. This condo is all about location. It has a direct view of the pool area, and thanks to the first-floor locale and new walkway, makes for a very easy walk to the beach - no stairs! The floors are great for easy sweeping, the mattress in the master bedroom felt brand new, and the large counter space with big mirror in the family room is great for additional counter space. The kitchen could be better stocked for cooking – frying pan/skillets, plastic cups, and another cookie sheet. A black out curtain would be great for the front bedroom – the lights from the walkway stay on all night and that bedroom never gets dark. We very much appreciated that the owners provided a ton of toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, some coffee k-cups, a few trash bags to get us started – and lots of towels. Definitely would stay in this condo again!

Wonderful Stay

This property is wonderful. Pools, playground, mini golf course and more. Wonderful room that was well stocked with everything we needed. The staff was nice and the grounds were very well kept. We will stay here again.

Great Condo!

This is the third condo my family has stayed in at A Place at the Beach, and it is definitely our favorite. It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The updates made to the bathrooms were great and the proximity to the pool and beach were so convenient. Paul was an excellent host who was quick to help us out when we needed information. We had a wonderful stay and will hopefully be able to return next year!

Good beach vacation

Our condo was bright and very comfortable. Its location in the complex is central to complex amenities. Our only complaint was the shortened office hours upon check in and check out.
