Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, updated 3 bedroom/3 full bath condo at A Place at the Beach in Atlantic Beach, NC. Sleeps up to 8 people. Recently beautifully updated, let the family stretch out and enjoy a beautiful courtyard & ocean view from the deck and living room. Walk out your front door to see the sound on the other side.

Incredible amenities include a large outdoor pool with 150 ft water slide, indoor pool, 2 hot tubs, huge courtyard lawn, playground, tennis court, full basketball court, and even a mini-golf course on the property. The indoor pool was just renovated from top to bottom for the 2020 season!

A walk down the private boardwalk on the property will take you right through the dunes and straight to the beach! Everything you need for a fun family vacation is at your fingertips. The outdoor hot tub is located a few steps from the unit!

The spacious living room is furnished and includes a central TV. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher.

This condo is on the third floor and the private porch overlooks the lovely property grounds and outdoor pool with an ocean view beyond that. Close enough to hear the ocean waves from the deck on calm days and nights.

The unit also comes with a washer and dryer located inside the unit!

The property is just minutes away from great family friendly attractions, including a short 1 mile trip to Fort Macon State Park and a 15 minute drive to the NC Aquarium or to Historic Beaufort Waterfront. 10 mins to Morehead city Waterfront.

Get the three bedroom

We’ve stayed at A Place at the Beach many times. This time we got the 3 bedroom. If you can do it, Do It! Our condo was fantastic! Everything else was the same, a great place to stay.

Beautiful condo

We always enjoy APATB. This condo was roomy, beautiful, and had a great view of the beach, the outdoor pool, and courtyard. We loved having so much space when we were inside. Furnishing were excellent and comfortable. The kids loved their bunk beds. I really enjoyed having my own bedroom and bathroom, as my son and daughter in law enjoyed theirs, also.

Laid back beach vaca with minor annoyances

We were at this property many years ago. Layout is a bit dated compared to newer condos we’ve used. Third floor with only one elevator a hundred yards away serving a very large condo building is a turn off if you don’t like stairs. Beachfront but very long walk to the beach, maybe 10-15 minutes. Unit was clean and recently updated but AC was very noisy and a plumbing issue took 5 days to fix. Im getting older and not so sure I would book again knowing the limitations.

A Quiet Retreat

Was the perfect mini getaway prior to the busy season. Not a lot of crowds and a very serene environment. Definitely looking forward to returning.

Wedding Weekend

Chose this for 3-bedroom layout for entire family, beach location, and site amenities. Enjoyed everyone of these items. The age of the property is evident, but you have done a great job in maintaining and updating your unit. One caution, the master bathtub's cold water faucent was leaking just behind the handle. I would check this in case it is leaking into the wall behind the faucets.

Family vaca

Was a perfect vacation time! The kids enjoyed the pools, basketball court and miniature golf. We all enjoyed being close to the beach ( water too cold though so thankful for the indoor pool ) I also enjoyed being very close to a nature trail. Have amazing memories and photos!!

Fun week at the Beach

Had a great time with 4 adults and three kids. It's a compact place but had everything we need. Loved the pool and easy access to the beach.

Old but in good condition

The unit was nice and the amenities of the place were nice however it would have been nice to know it was on the third floor and only one elevator at the other end of the building which was a long long walk. For some elderly people it would be too much even with kids. It wasnt bad but was not great.

Wonderful!

The unit was exactly as described. There were ample pots, pans and utensils. There was a small issue with a bathroom and the property manager promptly responded to our email and the problem was taken care of that same afternoon. We were very impressed.

"Great Family & Fun Resort"

The 3 bedroom unit was extremely clean and well decorated. The unit was well stocked with bedding, towels, kitchen utensils and toiletries. The view was super and close to all the outdoor amenities. We were very pleased with our stay and look forward to returning year after year to continue to make family memories. *5 Stars is not enough* For both the resort and host.

Perfect Family Vacation

We come to this complex every year, and this condo checked all the boxes for us. Our kids enjoyed playing on the playground/green space in the mornings and evenings while we watched them from the balcony. We could see the pool and ocean from the balcony as well. This condo in particular was exactly as listed and provides a lot more space than most condos in this complex. Full size washer and dryer was a major plus when staying for the week! We will likely stay here again

Amazing trip to Atlantic Beach

This was our first vacation to Atlantic Beach and it was beyond amazing. Our 3 bedroom condo was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Stephanie was an amazing host and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. A Place at the Beach was perfect for my kids. The waterslide and playground were a huge hit. I felt very comfortable and safe which is very important to me. Stephanie's recommendations of places to eat and fun activities was very helpful and greatly appreciated. We are already looking forward to vacation here next year!! I would highly recommend this condo.

Great week

The condo was great!! It was clean and had a great view of the open area and ocean. We did have an issue one day and the water was shut off for the whole building but there was a water main break for the whole building. The resort office was prompt at returning my voicemail that day. Great place and stay.

Not what we expected

Check in process was straightforward and simple and property seemed quite nice at first glance. We opened the unit and immediately noticed how dirty and unkept it was. Let me preface this review by saying we’ve stayed at many different places and have never felt the need to write a negative review. We understand that not everything can be perfect and wear and tear is the natural order of things when it comes to properties and especially rentals. With that said we would be remiss if we didn’t alert the owners and any potential renters to the issues we found. Firstly, we could tell that there was a dog or small child in the unit previously because the sliding glass door had, what looked like, slobber or greasy hands on it about at knee hight. Not a great first impression. Upon further inspection more came to light. Comforter in the master bedroom had visible stains on it, virtually all cushions had stains and there was a strange smell coming from the couch. Basically any metal fixture in the unit, from the AC vent covers to the shower handles to the shower curtain rod, were rusted. Kitchen cabinets didn’t close properly or at all. AC vents had weeks, if not months of dust clogging the slats and the stucco ceilings had visible dust where the AC outlets blew. Pots and pans were not cleaned properly and one even had what appeared to be mold on it. There is much more to say and most of it negative but I don’t have enough space to elaborate further. Needless to say, renter beware.

Vacation

The property was in a nice location and had a lot of amenities. The gate guard was also helpful and courteous. I had problems getting to the link for the check in process and the property management did nothing to help, assist or resend. Instead I was constantly emailing her asking for assistance. After 1 1/2 days, she just stopped responding to my text messages. When we finally got to the place, the coffee maker didn't work, there was no streaming services available, there were no TVs in any bedroom and not enough toilet paper to last our time there. I will not stay there again.

Great time at the beach

We came to visit with my son at cherry point. It was about 30 minutes away but a great beach to be at. Not crowded at all during the time we were there. Great condo and the amenities were nice too. Definitely do grocery shopping at Lowe’s. It may be a bit more expensive, but it is the cutest grocery store I’ve ever seen!

Nice First time at Atlantic Beach

Nice place... amenities were the best thing about it. I would suggest putting a tv in at least one bedroom. I will try to stay on 1st floor next time or near elevator...our knees don't like stairs. Overall we were pleased & well rested.

Great amenities. Disappointing condo.

The amenities at A Place At The Beach are fantastic! Great pools. Great waterslide. Great putt putt golf! Great tennis/basketball courts. Great playground. Great beach. Great open area. What was not so great was the condo itself. The floors were dirty when we arrived. My feet were black on the bottom after just walking through on arrival. Unacceptable. The vertical blinds in the living and one bedroom were mostly missing so when we closed them, the window and sliding doors were mostly still open and not covered. Unacceptable. While I understand putting plastic covers on the mattresses--it makes for VERY hot and uncomfortable sleeping. The kitchen needs more pot holders, more mugs, more drinking glasses. The bedroom with the 2 sets of bunk beds has a window that faces the outer hallway in which there are bright lights on 24/7. That window needs more than just a blind. It needs room darkening curtains or something. I expect cleanliness. I expect a well stocked kitchen. I expect that I will be able to close the window coverings at night and feel confident that no one is able to look in. I do not expect to see a broken light fixture on the deck. I do not expect to see peeling paint on the deck railing. I am quite certain that we will not stay here again. The amenities and the perfect weather made our stay memorable and FUN! The condo needs attention.

Great week at the beach!

The condo is perfect for a week away with family. We enjoyed the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor hot tub, fire pit , playground and water slide. The location is close to everything we needed. Indoor hot tub did not work most of our stay, and the midnight fire alarm on our first night was a little unnerving, but other than that we enjoyed our stay! The rules of having a wristband to use any amenities is strictly enforced, but the gated community made us feel safe and relaxed during our stay. We would definitely consider this place again!
