Nestled in the serene foothills of the Sierra mountains, the Sierra Haus Cottage awaits you for your quiet getaway. This remarkable studio guest cottage offers an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourselves in the beauty of nature while enjoying the comforts of a private luxurious cottage. There is an optional glamping tent for your use that is included for any parties with 6 person occupancy. There is additional charge for smaller parties therefore if you wish to use the tent please select 6 person occupancy at the time of booking. Your stay always includes private access to members-only Dogwood Lake (offsite, 5 min drive), as the season allows.

DISCLAIMER: This is a studio apartment within a larger home and ONLY includes use of the ground floor as well as an outdoor yard with a firepit and bbq. It does not include or give access to the adjacent 3 BDR home or wrap-around deck.

Property Highlights:

🏡 The cottage enjoys a private and secure entrance occupying the lower level of a two story luxury home that is the entire upstairs (not accessible). There is a renovated bathroom with a two person shower and a kitchenette for your private use in the cottage. Outside we have a yurt with a queen sized bed for additional sleeping or if you enjoy sleeping outdoors. There is a large outdoor yard that is for your exclusive use that includes a gas grill, outdoor games like cornhole, and a fire pit as well as lounge seating.

🛌 The bedroom is spacious with a queen-size bed and includes a full-sized pullout sitting sofa. Unit amenities include a Smart TV, full sized fridge, microwave, and fire pit (when fires are allowed). We provide a large selection of snacks for you to enjoy during your stay!

Explore many different hiking trails from your front door, swim in crystal-clear rivers and waterfalls right up the road, or experience the thrill of skiing at Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort in Stanislaus National Forest. Yosemite National Park is also within easy reach, promising unforgettable family excursions.

🚗 Ample Parking: Sierra House offers convenient and ample parking (the garage is not provided, sorry).

Dogwood lake is available seasonally for your use during your stay and, if you have a boat you can visit Pinecrest Lake which is public and allows large power boats.
