L'Oasis a North Jax Beach ha tutto. A soli 400 passi dalla spiaggia, con vista sull'oceano. C'è una bellissima piscina nuova di zecca nel cortile meravigliosamente paesaggistico per accompagnare questa eccentrica, ma affascinante, casa sulla spiaggia più antica che è stata recentemente rinnovata dappertutto con cucine, bagni, ecc. Aggiornati, pur conservando la sensazione di intimità e bontà che si trovano in vecchi bungalow sulla spiaggia. Quando hai finito di nuotare, rilassati sulla piattaforma o salta sull'amaca e rilassati! L'unità al piano inferiore può ospitare 10 (camera da letto con 1 letto matrimoniale, camera da letto con 2 letti queen size e una camera da letto con 1 letto da giorno, nonché un letto a castello incorporato con letto full size e due letti singoli). L'unità al piano superiore può ospitare quattro persone con due ampie camere da letto King. Ogni unità ha un ingresso esterno separato (senza scale interne) ma viene affittata come una grande casa per la famiglia e gli amici. La grande cucina e sala da pranzo si trova al piano superiore dove tutti possono godersi grandi feste in famiglia. La piccola cucina della cucina al piano inferiore è perfettamente attrezzata per caffè e dessert. Questa splendida oasi è la casa ideale per il luogo di vacanza preferito della tua famiglia negli anni a venire!

An amazing 50th Anniversary family weekend

We had an amazing time celebrating my parents 50th with all their kids and grandkids! The kitchen was well equipped to host all our meals, the pool area was partially shaded and great for spending time relaxing together and the beach is right there to enjoy the sunrise and play!

Perfect location!

First off let me say I’d stay here again just for the location and the pool. The owner was quick to respond to questions and the house had just about everything we needed as a family of 8, including kids ranging 2-12. The only thing that we struggled with was the separation of the upper and lower units. It’s plainly listed on the description, I just overlooked it. With kids that are self sufficient, this wouldn’t be an issue… but we felt uneasy leaving our little ones unattended on one floor while we were on the other, even with live monitors and cameras we brought with us. Even with that small inconvenience it was a great stay!

Great location, old house

House had slanted floors and hadn’t had a lot of upkeep on the exterior. Wasn’t as great as photos. Pool was dirty. Location is amazing. Beach access easy. Appliances worked. Backyard area is great and offers shading for large portion of day. I’d give this 3.5 stars but def not 4.

Mixed thoughts

Great pool, super location to beach, nice upgraded upstairs kitchen. Deck to pool is a lawsuit waiting to happen with kids..nails, rotted wood etc. Rat sighted twice. Needs more grounded electric outlets.

Great place with plenty of room

I live locally and had friends coming to town in which I didn’t have enough sleeping accommodations at my house. This house met all our needs. We had some rainy weather and had to spend some time indoors. The living space upstairs was fine for us all to hang out. The house does have a slant but thought it added to the charm of the home. Will definitely rent again should the need arise. William was very responsive and check in was very easy.

Terrible Experience

I cannot recommend this vacation house. There are significant issues that made our stay uncomfortable and concerning: Structural Problems: The house feels tilted, indicating potential foundation issues. This raised safety concerns during our stay, as it felt like the structure could collapse at any moment. Misleading Photos: The listing photos are not an accurate representation of the property. The house is much smaller than it appears online, and there are only two bathrooms — one on each floor. The lower-level bathroom is so small it cannot even be considered functional. Damp and Musty Environment: The house is extremely damp, and the smell of moisture permeates the space. This was not only unpleasant but also made the living conditions uncomfortable. Severe Maintenance Issues: Paint is peeling from the walls and ceiling, adding to the overall neglect of the property. For the safety and comfort of future guests, I would recommend the owner to address these critical issues immediately. Until then, it is not a safe or enjoyable place to stay.

I will never rent here again. The house is run down and not at all what I expected. A/C quit working while we were there causing a very unpleasant night, pool area is infested with mosquitoes and unusable. Spent 100 dollars on sprays just to combat them. Ants were a constant problem in the kitchen and the worst was the basement has a black mold issue around the vents and dehumidifier and smells awful, causing my pregnant daughter to seek other accommodations. I asked for compensation due to these issues and have heard nothing back from them. VRBO should not list this property

The house was an excellent location for us and clean. The home's unique characteristics should be played to in the marketing efforts. Then, services are provided as compensation for the character. For example, the amenities, such as steak knives that are fantastic, enough toilet paper and paper towels for the visit. The trash around the pool area cleaned up, not sure but it appeared that there was a filter from a while ago that had been changed out and just left half in the box and mid way under the deck. Which is a bit treacherous, I would highly recommend replacing that to ensure no one gets injured. I recommend these things as we, too, have rental property and see this as a word from experience, perhaps. It was fine; we enjoyed our time and had fun with the character of the home, and I am sure the weekend will always be known as the time we spent in the slanted house. Have a great Spring!

I do not recommend staying here.

I would not recommend staying at this property. Upon our arrival, the door handle to the front door had fallen off, the toilet was leaking, and the deck board had fallen through. I addressed these issues with Bill and he did send someone out to address the issues. After our first night, we saw a couple rats in the home. The rats ate our food, chewed on my daughters tablet case and got into our belongings. My daughters who are 4 & 6 also saw the rats in the living room. To say we were disgusted was an understatement. There is also rat traps and feces in the home in the closet where the air handler is located. And rat traps under the couch. There is also black mold on the AC vents. This house is absolutely unlivable and should not even be on VRBO as a listing. We did not swim in the pool because it was cloudy. I have pictures documenting our entire stay. Do not stay here. The owner also charged my card after my visit saying we broke the pool pump, when we not once stepped into the pool. Awful experience.

Little family beach stay

Me, my two daughters, my sister-in-law and her son, my mom and mother-in-law stayed for five days. The set up was perfect and there was more than enough room for everyone. Plenty of comfortable beds and pillows, tons of bath and beach towels (this was a pleasant surprise!). The property is one block from the beach, and close to many nearby shops and restaurants (five seconds to a little ice cream stand!). The house has some quirks; the lean that others mentioned didn’t bother anyone but made us laugh a good bit! The home is probably close to 100 years old; and has obviously been renovated and definitely needs some further work, like any house of its age. We enjoyed the separate living spaces, the downstairs kitchenette was perfect for early morning coffee before breakfast. The AC was probably the best of any beach home we’ve stayed in - it was a brisk 69 upon our arrival and never struggled to maintain, and that’s amazing! William was quick to respond - upon arrival we noticed that the pool vacuum was damaged and sitting on the ledge. Aside from the home needing a good cleaning (windows and baseboards and things that a clean freak would notice, such as myself and MIL), however the floors and bathrooms and kitchens were very clean and well supplied. The only issue we had was that the washing machine didn’t work and wasn’t resolved during our stay. I’d suggest leaving some cleaning supplies for guests (windex, Clorox, etc), and Tupperware! And lamps! Thanks!

Undecided Property

My original reservation was for Jan12th – Jan17th for my nephew’s football tournament. I contacted the property manager & asked could I change my reservation to Jan 12th-Jan16th. The manager stated that he will refund me for the last day of $150.00 after check out. It's Jan 22nd, & I still haven’t received my refund. The entire unit downstairs slants very badly and the plumbing in the unit is horrible. We stayed here for almost a week & the toilet did not flush. The water wouldn’t reload in the toilet automatically & throughout our stay we had to use the upstairs bathroom. We had to physically put water on for it to flush. The outside exterior in the front and back yard looks horrible & I thought I was scammed. The stairs are worn with nails coming out, the brinks on the ground aren’t leveled, the outside light to the downstairs porch unit wasn’t working, & the grass wasn’t cut nor were the bushes. It gave, I don’t care about people staying in my home this week. I was really looking forward to the “wonderfully landscaped backyard” as stated on the internet. Once we pulled back the linen on each bed as requested, we found that each mattress was full of multiple pee stains. This property was not worth the price we paid for it. I also have a video on how we left the house so you can’t say we didn’t clean it like requested. My family & I travel a lot & normally book through resorts. This was my first and last time doing this. I have pics & videos to support everything I stated.

Do not rent any property from this host

The host denied me access to the property so I cannot comment on the interior. The outside of the property was dirty, in disrepair, outside decking with gaping holes in the railing, building materials in the back yard. The pool was dirty and the pool deck covered with leaves, branches, and palm debris. The property did not appear to have been assessed or prepared for renters arriving the day and time of my check in at 4pm. The host did not provide check in instructions at time of check in nor did he answer his phone when I made several attempts to contact him at time of check in. I had to contact VRBO customer service for assistance. The host did finally call me back and claimed his property manager lost her phone that morning as an explanation as to why I had not received check in instructions. When I asked the host to have someone go to the property to clean it up, clean the pool, check on the interior, he got very defensive and told me to not enter the property. He ended the call and immediately sent me a text message clearly stating that I not access the rental. I had no choice but to contact VRBO customer assistance as now I had no place to stay with my family which included my 2 year old granddaughter. VRBO customer assistance provided me help in finding another place to stay. The host contacted me several more times throughout the rest of the week demanding I cancel this rental. VRBO helped me get a full refund.

Cozy Bungalow

The beach house was clean with an easy check-in process. When I messaged the owner about a missing appliance, he responded quickly and replaced the item shortly after. My family and I had a great time.

Location! Location! Location!

This property couldn't be in a better location! We rented a golf cart ( Southern Breeze Cart Rental) and it was PERFECT ! Everything is cart accessible. The house has a lean to it- as it states in the listing, however we were honestly only in the house to sleep. This house is one block from the beach, and blocks from several restaurants ( Phillies, Lemon Bar, Land Shark and adorable boutiques. The pool was warm and amazing full sun!! There was a note to leave the pool vacuum connected and not to touch it while using the pool- that was annoying- the vacuum continually tries to climb your leg, that is honestly my only complaint, I see why it needs to be cleaning but, should be a better way to navigate that- maybe PM cleanings only? Anyway the house was great- we were left with only one trash bag in each house and one roll of toilet paper, so we did have to purchase items, also only two bath towels upstairs. These are all minimum things I noticed- since I hosted groups for years. However this may be a cleaning company issue. All in all we would def stay there again, because the location of the house was just perfect.

Location is perfect!!

We rented this house for a family trip. The owner describes this place perfectly. It has its quirks with the slanted floors and there is no staircase indoors connecting the upstairs and downstairs. We were a party of 11- my family of 5, my brothers family of 4, and our parents. The grandparents ended up sleeping with the kids downstairs and the adults upstairs each with our toddlers in the king beds. The first day was a little tricky learning how to function in the house but then we all agreed that we would totally rent this house again. The location to the beach is perfect and the pool was the biggest hit and where our kids spent most of their time. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The owner was readily available and very prompt in answering all of my questions. We had a great time and would definitely book this house again.

STAY AWAY

We stay at vrbos a few times a year, so have seen it all, or so I thought... Party of 14, exhausted after a long day of travel we finally made it to our place late on Sunday night to find this place is sooo old where the floors are sloped to more then 18 degrees, making it hard to walk on, and that's nothing really comparing to what we saw later. Beds sheets and pillow cases were not washed after previous guests. We found hair and folds and other things on the sheets and pillows in our beds. We were sooo discussed, exhaustion after a day of travel was nothing... We packed up and ran into the night looking for new lodging on Sunday night for all 14 of us with a baby just to get away from this place. Pictures are deceiving, this place is worst then your night mare. We didn't even get a penny back from owners and no regrets, I would of paid him twice that much to get away from that place. I am pretty sure this place is inhabitable with how it's structurally damaged as it is, but dirty sheets, is absolutely beyond me...

Fantastic location! great house!

I read all the reviews before renting. Yes the house is slanted, but it is beautiful and comfortable. The pool was fantastic. The trees provided a great amount of shade and the lounge area of the pool was a wonderful surprise. We were able to easily walk to the beach, ice cream spot (LOVE) and gas station. Everything else was a very short car ride. This location exceeded our expectations and we will be looking at this rental again in the future! Thanks for having us!

Perfect getaway!

This property had everything we were looking for, including the surrounding areas. This mini vacation was for the guys. There were plenty of beds and space in both levels of the property. The pool was the perfect place to cool off after going to the golf course or the beach. You can access the beach within a 2-3 minute walk. It was the perfect set up for beach access. We went to Jacksonville Beach Golf Club, Top Golf, and several restaurants. This property was 10 minutes from the golf course, 5 minutes or less to restaurants, and 20 minutes to top golf. We highly recommend staying at this property!
