The worse thing I dislike in showering in cold water, the "master" bedroom water was the worst. The sink , showers both sides, nothing but COLD water. And hand towels need to be a little more clean as well as the carpet floor areas. I did enjoy the stay and hope my views doesn't impede anyone else's stay. I always wear socks anyway, bought some cheat hands towels, and just stood outside the shower wetting myself first, to get use to the cold water before actually getting in the shower. Very convenient. Close shops

Hurricane Haven

My elderly parents and I chose to escape a direct hit from hurricane Francine. The Dogwood-2 did not disappoint. Beautiful home, beautiful property and very gracious owners. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Beautiful/Clean home

This rental exceeded our expectations. The house was one of the cleanest and nicest rentals we have ever stayed in. Tom and Dana were awesome host to work with. After some confusion on reservations (which was 100% my fault) Tom was really helpful and got it straightened out right away. We will definitely be back for another stay .

We were coming into this area for a work trip. It ended up being further than I had hoped, but the house more than made up for it. The living area is huge, there is a huge back yard and firepit area, as well as a covered patio area off the house/carport. Master suite is large enough to move around comfortably. The kitchen had the items we needed to cook breakfast and make coffee, (we brought our own food and coffee). I would have liked to have more time to stay. We also had a friend that wanted to stay with us after the fact, and I didn't realize this same property has a listing for 3 bedrooms, but you can't access the 3rd bedroom if you booked the 2 bedroom listing. Not the owners fault- just some of the clunkiness of VRBO listing results I guess. If I had a family, I would love to stay here, as the kids would have plenty of room to run around the back yard. I wish we had a reason to come back!
