Before we even arrived, communication with host was bad at best. I pointed out a difference in price and he accused me of taking advantage of them…. I am pretty sure that pointing out something that was printed differently is not taking advantage of anyone. When we arrived the view was great, immediately saw the dining chairs were coming apart, the patio furniture was also in need of repair. The light fixture in the bathroom had dead bugs in it, the other one had a light burnt out. There were also ants crawling all over the counter, the oven wall and in the cupboard. There were only 3 bath towels, zero hand towels, not even in the kitchen. The kitchen was probably the least stocked of any Vrbo, cabin, condo I have ever stayed in. They did not have hot pads, oven pans, spatula flippers. We love the location of the building, we love the beach, the views… but for the additional 875 we were charged for 7 days of top of the regular price and fees that are triple that of other condos we have stayed at in this very same building, all booked through VRBO…. It is not worth it, and we will not be back to any of the units they run.Top that with the poor communication from the host, and then unwilling to apologize . When I told them about the and infestation… their response was that they are shocked, because they do monthly fumigation, no apology… just trying to make it seem like I might be lying because they fumigate monthly.
