This is a gorgeous property, a little out of the way, quiet and restorative! Hosts are easy to work with and the place is set up with everything you need in a home away from home. We used the pool, the fire pit and the back deck was our resting space between wineries. We took walks around the pond and enjoyed the morning bird calls.

We had a great stay at this home. We traveled with three very young children including one baby and it was so perfect. Easy to get to great hiking spots and so nice to come home to and relax. We loved that our only neighbors were the horses.

Location was peaceful and private. Stayed to help move out our son from the dorm at SIU. Driveway big enough to accommodate our trucks and U-Haul. Home was clean. Pullout sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable and the other mattresses were very firm, but sufficient for a short stay. Deck , pool and swings would be fun for families with little kids. Good communication with host. Good value for the price. Would stay again.

Beautiful location!!

Very nice house, we loved the access to the pond- my husband and son spent so many hours catching and releasing. It was a rainy weekend for us but that's okay, the kids were still able to enjoy the pool! The house was perfect for all of us. Definitely recommend!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

What truly makes this property stand out is the incredible combination of luxury, space, and tranquility. The pool is a centerpiece — perfect for relaxing swims on warm days or simply lounging poolside and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It creates a private resort-like atmosphere right at home.

Inside, the home is pristine and beautifully maintained. Every room feels warm and inviting, with a cozy charm that makes you instantly comfortable. It’s the kind of space that feels both elegant and lived-in in the best possible way — spotless, welcoming, and thoughtfully cared for.

The five acres it sits on offer something truly special: privacy and freedom. There’s room to breathe, room to explore, and room to enjoy nature without interruption. The pond adds even more character, creating a serene backdrop and a perfect spot to unwind or take in the scenery. And with plenty of parking, the property is as practical as it is beautiful — ideal for hosting family and friends without ever feeling crowded.

Altogether, it’s a rare blend of comfort, beauty, and space that makes this property truly one of a kind.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The neighborhood feels like a hidden retreat from the rest of the world. It’s quiet and peaceful, the kind of place where the noise of everyday life seems to fade into the background. The air feels lighter here, and there’s a sense of calm that settles in the moment you step outside. Being surrounded by nature and open space makes everything feel more relaxed and unhurried. It’s secluded in the best way — private, comforting, and wonderfully still.

What I enjoy most is how easy it is to truly unwind. Whether I’m swimming and letting the cool water wash away the stress of the day, or sitting on the back deck with a drink in hand, I can completely relax. The deck is my favorite spot — it’s perfect for listening to the breeze, watching the light change in the evening, and just being present in the moment. There’s something special about having a space where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and feel at peace.
