Another Idyllic Stay!

This was our fourth summer stay at this beautiful Sag Harbor abode and we cannot WAIT to go back next year! This is truly the perfect house for families. Our children (3.5 and 5 years old) love the pool (and the hot tub) and the huge yard that they can run and play games in. The playroom in the basement is also a nice escape for them (and their parents!) The house is truly a great refuge for families like ours: it's large enough where everyone can have their space (i.e., when children are napping and the parents are watching TV, reading or listening to music) without disturbing each other. It's such a close walk to town (or scoot or bike ride) and the private bay beach is truly a treasure. The beach is walkable and close enough to the house, but if you're transporting a lot of stuff (for your toddlers and yourself), there is a small, private parking lot that makes the toting so easy! The privacy of the bay beach made for nice, long days of relaxation and play and the people in the neighborhood are so lovely. This is truly a family neighborhood and we are so fortunate to round out our summer here. The hostess is SO responsive and we've never had any issues reaching her. The house is beautiful and well kept. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable and children can freely play because there's not a lot of cars/traffic. Thank you for another dream stay! See you next year!

Extended Family Stay

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this clean, spacious home. It was just a short walk to the Village of Sag Harbor and all of its shops and restaurants. The beach was also a short walk from the house and the pool was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The hosts were very responsive, answering all of our questions in a timely manner. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Highly recommend.

Gets better with each stay

We love this house so much! Perfect location to walk to bay beaches and Sag Harbor, very convenient to all the other towns in the Hamptons. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped with the best backyard set up, dream kitchen, spacious living rooms and bedrooms. Thanks Taran and Roy for another great stay! We'll be back!

50th Birthday Getaway

We had a fabulous time. We walked to the beach, downtown, or just through the lovely neighborhood. We floated in the pool and made delicious meals and drinks with all the items, glasses, cookware in the kitchen. From the pool mats to the beach chairs, there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. The sun was shining and we had a great trip. ☀️

Another Fantastic Sag Harbor Summer Finale

Our third time staying at this gorgeous house (and our fourth summer in Sag Harbor). This house has everything a family needs: proximity to beach, pool, hot tub and room for toddlers to have a lot of fun in! We used the grill almost everyday and enjoyed eating outside by the pool. We walked into town frequently and took advantage of the proximity. The house itself is spacious and great for families and groups of friends. I say this every year, but every year I find a little more magic in this wonderful house in this amazing community: we will be back (again and again) and our children absolutely love ending the summer in this beautiful place.

Perfect house

Our third summer in Sag Harbor and our second stay at this amazingly gorgeous house. Taran is an amazing house. Very responsive and gracious. My family and I absolutely love this house. We will keep coming back (hopefully next year too!) as long as Taran lets us. My toddlers love the house (playroom is great) and the pool and hot tub. The proximity to the beach is amazing (especially with small kids). We had both sets of grandparents and we all felt we had a lot of space. This house is perfect for big families and for kids of all ages. Thank you!

Lovely house

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this house! The photos did not do it justice. The house as bigger and nicer than we anticipated. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The homeowner was also super communicative anytime we had a question, and our stay went very smoothly. Would definitely rent this house again.

Beautiful Sag Harbor House

The house is perfect for a family vacation. The kitchen is large with a large island to gather around. Off the kitchen is the den with seating for about 10-12 people to go after dinner. Since we had young kids, the highlight was the basement with the ping pong and foosball table, plus a large coach and TV. The outside is great for entertainment with a large pool with many floats. The neighborhood is very nice, with the beach a 5 minute walk and the town of Sag Harbor a 15 minute walk. Highly recommend the this home for a great vacation.

Incredible experience, thanks to Taran and Roy

Let me first say I have never met more organized hosts in my life. Taran and Roy were so diligent- their handy visitor book was such an awesome guide, not only for use around their home but also in Sag Harbor and the Hamptons generally. They put a lot of care into their home, and it shows. My group of friends was so blown away by the property overall, with its gorgeous pool and huge outdoor grilling area, in addition to the amount of sleeping and lounging space. The location is unbeatable- the adorable town of Sag Harbor is a short walk or drive away, and there are 2 beaches just down the street from the house. Taran and Roy were also so helpful and responsive if we needed anything. This house is a true gem and it gets a 10/10 score from my crew. Hope to be back in future summers!!

Incredible vacation

We were a large group, mixed with adults, a newborn and two toddlers. The house was perfect for us! There’s a playroom in the basement (carpeted!) and lots of toys throughout the house. The kitchen is welcoming and big, perfect for a large group. So many amenities. The hot tub was a big hit! The pool was beautiful and there are so many floats (and floaters for children). We felt we could do things collectively as a group and separately in smaller clusters throughout the house (watch a movie in the basement or in the main living room upstairs). Very short and easy walk to town. We love the private bay beach which was so accessible. The neighborhood is so welcoming. It felt private and familial at the same time. We hope to have the privilege of staying here again next summer! Owners are very responsive over text. Perfect stay.

Perfect Weekend

This house is possibly better than the pictures! It’s a spacious and gorgeous home just minutes from the heart of town and an incredibly short walk to a precious, private beach. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The pool and hot tub are amazing. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating and even let us check in early. There is ample space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Only a couple, very small things (like no full length mirrors that we could find, and could use some new pillows/mattress toppers) to mention, otherwise it exceeded expectations. One thing to note, which you can see in the pictures but might not realize, is that the driveway is VERY steep. Overall we had an amazing weekend and enjoyed working with Taran!

Family vacation

First time vacationing at a rental house usually motels or resorts Was not disappointed house was everything I could ask for. Close to village and walking distance to the beach. Sag Harbor Delight

Located 2 minutes from beach and 10 minutes from town by walking made this rental house a pleasure with young children. The pool and hot tub was a delight to both parents and children. We may return next year.

4th of July

We had the most wonderful time. The house is beautiful and has an incredible backyard with a gorgeous pool and hot tub. We were able to walk to to the charming town of Sag Harbor which had excellent restaurants and shopping. The kitchen is a dream chef’s kitchen with Viking and Sub Zero appliances. An amazing and comfortable stay in Sag Harbor!

We stayed at Taran's house with one other family for a week and had such a lovely time! We had 5 kids with us: ages 2, 5, 5, 12 and 15. The pool of course was the main entertainment but the playroom in the basement was great for the littles and the foosball table, etc were great for the 12 and 15 year old boys. But most of all we loved that we all got to spend so much time together in this house. The accommodations were clean and so comfortable and the kitchen was the perfect size for a group our size. The house was stocked with so many beach/pool towels, pool rafts/tubes/toys and around 5 (maybe 6?) beach chairs too! Plenty of basic household items too like garbage bags, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, etc. I've stayed at so many places where you are given just one of each thing and then you spend a fortune buying supplemental to last the week. This was really appreciated by me! We absolutely loved our stay and would stay here again if we come back to Sag Harbor. Enjoy!

Absolutely Lovely

Taran, a truly gracious host, sets the stage for a perfect Sag Harbor experience. The house is elegant but kid friendly; kitchen a dream for multiple cooks; beds and sofas supremely cozy; the well-soundproofed basement furnished with elliptical, treadmill and bike for the fitness-minded, and foosball, junior ping-pong and piano for the fun-seekers. The pool and deck are spectacular, and we loved lounging in the hammock and listening to the breeze rustle the tall trees around the yard. All this, and a great location on a quiet street near the bay as well. Thank you for a week that will sustain us all year.

Perfect summer stays!

We just spent the month at 18 Cuffee Drive and I can’t say enough positive about this home! It was on the ideal village location, was clean and well-stocked with absolutely everything we needed and the owners were so easy to reach if needed. The absolute best part for us was the outdoor/pool area which is huge and gorgeous! My two young kids spent all day playing in the pool and spa (lots of toys/floats available!) and we grilled at night - summer doesn’t get any better and this home has it all !

As a native San Francisco Bay Area transplant, I wanted to find some "Bay Area" on the East Coast and found it in Sag Harbor. The charm, beautiful marina and beaches reminded me of home. The friendly people (everyone says hi!) and easy living was a great respite from my hectic life in Manhattan. My weekend and summer home was my escape and the chance for my kids to grow up close to nature like I did. My key criteria was a neighborhood where I could walk to stores and restaurants, parks and beaches. The neighborhood I chose met all the criteria as it was situated near bay beaches and a short walk to town. The home we chose was situated on a small hill on a half-acre plot--a perfect size for a standard pool size and hot tub while allowing for entertainment areas and nice grassy areas for a hammock and room to throw a football. The original home was a "tear down" due to a faulty foundation and low ceiling height in the basement. So we built our dream home--one that was very bright with an open layout, a large kitchen, a great room with cathedral (vaulted) ceilings, and lots of windows/french doors. We also wanted each bedroom to have it's own bathroom, whether en-suite or closeby. That has made a big difference in quality of life for everyone that has stayed at our home. We also wanted a sprawling lower level floor that could serve as a relaxation and fun space. We built a finished basement with non-standard sized windows (5 times the typical) that let in natural light and 8 ft. high ceilings. We added a huge sectional sofa, flat screen TV, gym, electric keyboard, table games (ping pong, foosball), and yes, wall-to-wall carpet for full comfort.
