Dorenda's place was perfect for us to base ourselves out of for work in the area. She was always very communicative, easy to work with ,and the place was perfect. We will be back next year for longer. Great location too!!

You are out in the country, farm country. Surrounded by fields of corn and beans and the occasional windmill. It is quiet but for the birds singing and bunny rabbits running around and the squawk of a pheasant. I suggest you go to the edge of the prairie wildlife area west of the State Park, it is a little difficult to find but you want to hike to the Beaver Creek waterfalls.

This was an amazing house! Clean, comfortable, the treats were a nice surprise and delicious!! The fireflies were such fun to watch! I hope we can get back to stay here again!

Lovely Stay! Definitely a home away from home. nice quiet place to unplug and unwind. Did some tourism in the area and this place was a perfect home to come back to after a long day of hiking and wandering around. Dorenda was an excellent host who gave us great tourist destination ideas in the area. we did not get to see everything and we will definitely be back again. House was spotless, communication with host was great, got back to me when I messaged. Amenities at the home were good too. everything we needed was right there. Thanks for a nice stay!

Excellent get-away

What a pleasant little gem!!! A retired farmstead with a play area for the kids! We were a little apprehensive at first about a place with no television, but it turned out to be a blessing! What a delightful change to get away from all the distractions and rediscover the simple things like watching sunsets, playing cards, listening to the birds. Highly recommended!!!! a
