Welcome to our cozy cottage located in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest! If you are looking for comfortable lodging located in close proximity to all of the outdoor adventures the ANF has to offer, this is your spot! While the cottage is conveniently located to all of the local recreation, you only need to step out the front door to immerse yourself in all of the beauty the area has to offer. With beautiful views overlooking a horse farm, abundant wildlife, and stellar sunsets this is an outdoor lovers paradise.
This little cottage has so much to offer. The outdoor area has a fire pit, picnic table, and well maintained yard with plenty of space for yard games. Watch deer grazing in the pasture as you sit next to your campfire. The interior is quaint, clean, and cozy. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a new gas stove and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and anything else you may need to cook. It also has a refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, and toaster. The bathroom is brand new and completely remodeled. There is a shower, but no tub. There is wifi at the cottage. The living room has a futon style couch and a tv with a Roku to access all of your streaming apps. Along with a selection of books and games for the whole family. There are two bedrooms, each have a full size bed.
Our location is 10-20 miles from many outdoor recreation areas including Kinzua Dam, Trails at Jakes Rocks, Minister Creek recreation area, and Hearts Content. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Warren, its a short drive to enjoy the local breweries, restaurants, and shops. Just 20 miles to Kane, as well.

It was a very nice and relaxing time. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and the horses and colt that was next to the property we also enjoyed a fire in the fire ring outside while laying on a blanket reading a book enjoying the day.We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Tiona, PA. The property is centrally located in the Allegheny National Forest, making it a perfect getaway for anyone looking to reconnect, slow down, and get away from the world while still having modern conveniences when you need them.The house was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. It was well equipped for cooking meals and had plenty to keep us entertained, including games for a rainy evening. Outside, the fire pit was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sound of the flowing creek and the beautiful surrounding views. The friendly neighbors and horses around the property were an added bonus.Whether you're an active hiker looking for an adventure or someone who simply wants to sit by the fire and enjoy some peace and quiet, this is a great place to stay. Highly recommend! We enjoyed our time here and definitely plan to return.

Quiet Stay Close to Allegheny National Forest

We stayed here for the weekend in order to take advantage of its location close to the National Forest. It was perfect. The kitchen was sticked with the basics olus some. The bathroom was very nicely renovated.

Private cottage in the ANF

The cottage was easy to find and was very clean. Everything inside was exactly as listed and the host even left us some farm fresh eggs in the fridge to have during our stay. Communication was also very easy with the host and they offered us some good hiking and dining recommendations. (Bent Run Falls and Hector Falls were our favorites.) I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

A wonderful find!

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The house is recently updated and completely spotless!! It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was really nice having some extra touches like a grill, toys for the kids to play with outside, a jug of water and a dozen fresh eggs left for us. We enjoyed the view of the countryside and seeing the horses next door. This is a hidden gem that we will definitely be returning to.

Very clean property. It was pretty hot during our stay and the A/C worked well. All linens were provided. Very comfy for the two of us and our small dog. We made breakfast each morning with provided farm fresh eggs! Thank you. There was also water in fridge to get us started. The yard was well kept and had a nice view. Great place to star gaze by the fire and close to Kinzua and Chapman State Park for kayaking.

Almost everything was great. We had a great time. It was a beautiful cottage. Everything had a very homie welcoming feeling to it from the tablecloth to the homie welcoming on the couch. The heating vent was blowing on the thermostat which made it hard to gauge the temperature in the house. That really isn’t a big deal though that house was beautiful, the horse farm across the street was awesome. There are so many deer walking around the property and the fire pit was nice. They also supplied the wood which I’ve noticed other properties do not.

This is a charming property! It offered everything I needed as both a relaxing getaway and a home base while exploring the many trails in the region. The inside was clean and cozy, and it's clearly well-cared for by owners who have put a lot of thought into making their guests feel at home. A comfortable bed, a tidy bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen. And the property grounds and surrounding area were quintessentially bucolic, with wooded hills and farmland all around. A perfect setting for taking in the glory of nature as you lounge by the fire. Overall, it was a great stay, and I'd recommend it to others looking for a similar retreat!
