Après in the private outdoor Jacuzzi while enjoying the beautiful mountain views. Three fireplaces, multiple living areas, and two levels of outdoor deck provide plenty of room for the whole group to gather together, and also offer ample spaces to find some privacy. There is plenty of entertainment for everyone after a day of exertion outdoors. All six televisions are equipped with cable tv with thousands of free on demand movies and Roku boxes, and the third floor game room features a billiards table and a closet full of board games. This mountain retreat features five bedrooms, and additional sleeping for six in two of the living areas. A thoughtfully appointed kitchen and outdoor propane grill help make cooking those large meals easy and enjoyable. Radiant-heated floors, heated two-car garage, heated driveway, and snow shoveling service take all the work out of coming home from a day on the mountain or waking up after a night of fresh powder. The master suite features its own jetted garden tub and private living suite with gas fireplace and soaring window overlooking the trees. It is our little corner of paradise, and we hope you will consider "Our Mountain Honey" for your next Breckenridge ski vacation or summer getaway.

Both decks have spectacular mountain and forest views. In the summer, Sawmill Creek can be heard rushing pleasantly below. The upper deck can be accessed from the main living room, the lower deck can be accessed from the 1st floor living room, trundle bedroom, and twin bedroom. Both decks feature porch swings. The upper deck has a dining table, rocking chairs and adirondack chairs, and the Weber grill. The lower deck features a Jacuzzi and is a great place to spend some outdoor time out of the blazing summer sun, because it is mostly shaded by the upper deck.

About Babs Wood
Babs and Pearce Wood are excited to share their mountain home with guests. Pearce grew up skiing with his family at their former home in Snowmass, and it has always been a dream to be able to share that same experience with his children. When shopping for a home, we chose Breckenridge because of its world-class skiing and summer activity opportunities, and its proximity to the Denver airport. Until the kids graduate from high school our time to visit "Our Mountain Honey" is limited, and for us it is a 7 hour journey door-to-door from our primary home in New Orleans. When not enjoying all that Colorado has to offer, we spend the majority of our free time sailing, attending festivals, and playing in rag-tag bands with our fellow amateur musician friends. Pearce works in the maritime industry, and Babs is a photographer.
Babs Wood purchased this House in 2016
Why Babs Wood chose Breckenridge
We fell in love with "Our Mountain Honey" when home shopping during our Mardi Gras ski trip. (Known as winter break for the rest of ya'll). It reminded Pearce exactly of his family's former house in Snowmass. Multi-level and sprawling, with plenty of nooks to find some peace and quiet. Our first vacation here with the kids included three generations of the family and five children, and it was such a blast. The kids stayed off their smartphones and found tons of ways to entertain themselves, even when the weather was too poor to play outside. They played together and bonded as cousins. It really was a dream trip and an experience we think so many families will enjoy.
What makes this House unique
All of our dream features are included with the property- ski-in/ski out, outdoor jacuzzi, breathtaking mountain views and outdoor decks to enjoy them, a two car garage, and plenty of room for everyone to have a bed. We can jump in the car and be on Main Street in five minutes, but more often than not we enjoy spending our down-time here at the house.

Great House and Location
We’d come back in a heart beat and would want to stay here again. Clean, convenient and great house
The property was amazing, as advertised. It had all of the comforts of home plus many perks
Let me start by saying that the owner was very friendly and very helpful with anything we needed. The house was beautiful and in PRIME location for skiing and anything in town. The ski trail and lift is directly across the street from the house. The house had all of the comforts of home plus many more perks. 3 large living rooms let everyone have their own space while still allowing us to be together. The hot tub and pool table were superb. We were very pleased to see the hot tub was emptied and cleaned upon our checkout. The check in and checkout process couldn’t have been easier. Overall, this was probably the best AirBNB/vrbo/homeaway experience I have had. Anytime I come back to a Breckenridge, I’ll be staying here. You just can’t beat the price, location, size and comfort. I highly recommend staying here. 5 stars.
Sweet location close to the slopes.
Our Mountain Honey is great, and is even better in person than in the photos. Interesting layout with lots of nooks and crannies. Also, pretty much the sweetest hot tub ever.
House was amazing. Had everything we needed. Location couldn't have been better! I'd recommend this house to anyone!
Thank you so much Dustin! I am thrilled Our Mountain Honey was a good home base for you and your friends. Please come back anytime!
Our family had a terrific time when in Colorado. The home was spacious and beautiful and everyone seemed to have enough personal space. The beds were so comfortable and the home was clean. The supplies provided were ample for our vacation. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone and would love to go back!
We are thrilled to hear that your trip went well and that the house was stocked to your liking. And we very much appreciate your taking such great care of the home. Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review. Please come back anytime!
Ski-In, Ski-Out of our little corner of paradise, "Our Mountain Honey." Multiple levels, a sprawling layout, and tons of character make this house the perfect place to hang out for your entire trip without feeling cooped up. On sunny days, the deck is an ideal spot to take a lunch break from skiing and enjoy the mountain views with friends who might not have made it out to the slopes that day. Apres in the jacuzzi on the lower deck in a private setting, surrounded by Aspen and Pine trees and those fabulous mountain views. The Weber grill always has plenty of propane and is available for your use. Once you are all tucked inside for the night, relax in front of one of three fireplaces. There are also plenty of TV's with cable boxes that feature HBO, Showtime, and thousands of free, current "On Demand" movies and tv shows. We also have Roku boxes throughout the house that you can use to log into your Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime account. City Market is a 6 minute drive away for all your grocery needs. There is also a beer/wine/liquor store in that same shopping area. Charter Sports is .7 miles down the road and offers reasonably priced, quality rental gear and great service. Many additional rental shops available within a couple of miles. There are several bicycle rental shops within a mile or so. If you want to get out on the town, a car is recommended for all but the heartiest of guests. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the base of 4 O'Clock Road, and then another couple of minutes to get to Main Street. In the summer it's nice but in the winter the kids don't find it all that fun of a walk. Parking is challenging during high season but not impossible. It's a five minute drive down the road to Main Street where all the restaurants and shops are. The closest pick up point for the free bus is a 15 minute walk down the road. June-September is prime time for hiking in the Breckenridge area, and there are plenty of gorgeous trails in the area ranging in difficulty from easy enough to do with kids, to so challenging only super rock star climbers can do them. The McCullough Gulch Trail and the Mohawk Lakes Trail are both great for waterfalls and two of our favorite hikes. Whitewater rafting companies are abundant, and there are several horseback riding operators in the area. Mountain bike and road bike trails are abundant. Ride to Frisco and back on the Blue River Recreation trail. The elevation loss to Frisco isn't that great, so coming back after lunch isn't that hard of an uphill climb. Once again, we cannot recommend highly enough relaxing from all of your winter or summer activities in the outdoor jacuzzi. To us, our happy hours with family and friends on the deck are just as an important of our trips as the skiing or the hiking or the cycling. We pride ourselves on having kitchen cabinets well-stocked with quality cookware and knives you will actually enjoy using. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are available for your use in the bathrooms, and you may help yourself to the laundry machines. We hope you enjoy "Our Mountain Honey" as much as we do, and that it provides you and your loved ones with as many exciting times and wonderful memories as it has us.
