WE APPRECIATE YOUR ACKNOWLEDGMENT:

1st: I, Gustavo, the main host, will be available throughout your stay. I may visit occasionally for light cleaning, gardening, or maintenance around the house. I speak german, spanish and english.

2nd: The small 4 person pool is free of charge; we clean it and check its safety weekly... There is no heating/massage function and it doesn't have any influence in the pricing. That's the extent of our offer. We do not hold liability in any event related to its use and don't provide further support for its use. It is an amenity meant to be used during the day as a further means of free relaxation.

3rd: Due to Aruba’s natural environment, you might encounter various small animals, like lizards, throughout the island. While we maintain a clean space, some of the smallest creatures may find their way inside occasionally. Rest assured, they are harmless and shy around people.

4th: These are our standard rules:

- Indoor and outdoor furniture must remain in its respective place at all times.

- Always put the keys back in the lockbox before your trips, to prevent loss or for the case that extraordinary maintenance needs to be done.

- Keep doors, windows and outside gates closed at all times.

- Please report any and every damage caused. That way we can count on Airbnb's insurance in case something happens at no cost to you.

- Smoking cigarettes indoors is not permitted, but vaping is allowed.

- Help us prevent damage to the air conditioning by not setting it to the lowest temperature.

- You must book the exact number of guests and specify the number of adults and children. The maximum number of guests at any given time is 6, and bringing another guest will result in a $15 service charge for every night of your stay.

- Some guests use cardboard boxes instead of grocery bags at the supermarket to bring the groceries home. Such boxes are meant to be returned to the supermarket, so please do not keep them anywhere near the house, or a $10 service charge (reason: extraordinary cleaning) might be raised for its disposal after your check-out.

- There is no sewage system available in the island, so each house possesses a septic tank. While it is safe to throw two or three sheets of toilet paper, more than that can overwhelm the toilet's system which is why there's a waste bin available right next to it.

- PLEASE do not use the beach or bath towels to clean the house or remove make up, sunblock or tanning lotion. In the event that you need cleaning supplies additional to the ones we provide, you can ask us. We care about the environment and it would be very sad for us to need to charge any amount of money after check-out due to replacing damaged towels. Please take this into account and maybe pack make-up removal tissues.
