Our stay let us rest and recover from a busy couple of days. They had everything we could possibly need, including a comfy bed. It was quiet, peaceful, and clean. The host was kind and friendly. I would highly recommend if you’re looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Durango!

This place was just perfect for our needs. It is about a 12-15 minute drive from downtown Durango. It was very quiet and peaceful. There's a nice porch to sit on in the mornings and evenings. Our host, Jennifer, communicated prior to our arrival with helpful information. The open concept living room/kitchen and the porch gave us plenty of room. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Keep in mind it is above the garage so there is a set of stairs, but completely worth it if you do not have physical limitations!

A very restful spot that feels a lot farther away from the bustle of town than it actually is--only a 10-15 minute drive. The host was great at responding right away to messages, so I always felt like we were in communication. The host also generously supplied bottled water but didn't actually need to -- the tap water tasted great (my litmus test is whether it makes good tea and it really did!). A great shower, too!Two minor notes: The stairs may be a little challenging if you have balance problems (like my husband does), but didn't bother me a bit. Some of the light switches are not near the light that they control, but many are labeled and we were able to find any that were not. We were on a quick trip, and so were only there for a couple of nights, but it would be a wonderful place for a long, relaxing visit.

Perfect spot for a week in Durango

This was a perfect place for our week in Durango. Comfortable bed and everything we needed to cook and relax in the evenings. Bob and Jennifer could not have been more friendly and helpful. They gave us some great tips for our stay and made us feel right at home. 100% recommend ! We will stay here on our next trip to Durango!

Amazing stay, perfect for our needs!

This was the perfect location and home for our needs. We came and went during the day, short drive to town where they have all the restaurants and shops. Jennifer was very communicative and detailed, she was willing to assist us however we needed. Very clean and cozy. Highly recommend!

A stop on are way to the Grand Canyon

Shows a TV on the website. It did not connected to any service.No Internet service. Great place if you want to be off the grid but close to a town. Don't use if you need to be doing some work. Priced high for the services offered.

Tranquility at the Nordic Nook

The Nordic Nook was a darling space that exceeded my expectations. It was very comfortable, cozy, and clean. Views of the area surrounding the property were also beautiful and calming.There were many touches that made me feel welcome from the plentiful rolled towels to the blankets and throws available on each armchair. Check in was easy! I was particularly worried about this because I arrived much later than anticipated. I had no trouble accessing the property. Jennifer's communication was clear and always helpfulI would recommend this space to anyone and am grateful to Jennifer for being such an excellent host!

My host, Jennifer, she was amazing..!Jennifer was extremely cordial, very helpful and she asked me multiple times during my week stay if I needed anything. I started out the first two days, solo, my reason to be in the area was to prospect for gold. Jennifer texted me near the end of the day to be sure I was alright.The inside was over the top clean and organized. Very roomy, large kitchen, cook ware, utensils, lots of counter space. Cozy bedroom, very clean bathroom with more towels and extras if you need. I want to make an extra emphasis on Jennifer, her husband Bob too, both helped answering questions and offering suggestions to little secret gems where to dine and explore.I’ve reserved many cabins and cottages over the years, you won’t have a better experience, beautiful quiet location, an amazing host..Five stars BTW, Jennifer made a loft of banana bread for me, still warm something a little extra the last morning checking out,

Clean, well equipped and very peaceful place in the country. WiFi was strong and thankful to have central AC since the weather was in the 90s every day. It cooled off at night and there was a great view of the Milky Way from the deck.

My family enjoyed our brief stay at Jennifer’s apartment. Check-in and check-out went smoothly as it was easy to follow her directions. Jennifer was a gracious host - she left some fruit for us in the apartment and came to check if we had everything we needed after we arrived. The apartment itself was clean and cozy. The furniture was comfortable and there was an abundance of towels and blankets. We had to set up the air mattress for my daughter to sleep on but it was easy to inflate and deflate it. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful - just what we needed after a long day of travel. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
