About the property

This property is located in the banana belt of Gualala, Ca. where the weather is warm and sunny even if much of the coast is covered in fog. As you drive down the private driveway, this large home sits majestically in a serene redwood meadow with a beautiful deck, and garden.

The house has been newly renovated and is stunning. Beautiful Area and wonderful place to relax!

  • 5 of 5

We had a little miscommunication problem when we arrived. The house had not been cleaned. Kathy went out of her way to make this right and we appreciated her effort SO much. It's a homey, comfortable spot for families. We had 5 kids between us and they loved exploring the woods while we sat on the deck or in the garden. It is nestled back from the road in a wonderful forest of Redwoods. Mice are a problem for this precious spot, but nothing that would deter us from coming again. Just nice to be aware so you can plan accordingly when using the utensils and drawers. Kitchen has plenty of open space to cook for a crowd. Upstairs loft was perfect for our crew of kids. We enjoyed a Star Wars marathon on the TV in the evenings in front of a nice fire. We also played games on the large table in the kitchen area. We did meander the trails on the property and found the little town of Gualala to be a fun spot. We tried the pizza, explored the beach, and shopped at the store. Loved the rugged coastline on this stretch of highway 1.

Relaxed, private and scenic, somewhat rustic. I would definitely return again

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed the house and the yard. The front porch was great for hanging out and socializing. The round living room coffee table was a beautiful work of art. There were a few things the kitchen could have used (spoons, wine glasses, pepper) but it was an inviting atmosphere where we had a family dinner, and there was room for our gathering.

Great getaway, spacious, clean and private

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved the kitchen! It is fully equipped. The bed was comfy and from the moment we walked in we felt relaxed. The property is really beautiful, and the nooks around the house are great for reading, walking, or just hanging out. The Host was extremely helpful, you are a couple of miles from a great grocery store, restaurants and the beach.

A great getaway

This was a great extended family house. The great rooms were comfortable for group cooking and dining. The front porch was my favorite thing. Sitting and enjoying the woods view. We will be back!

Perfect for a group

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time.

The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked meals for 11 in our group.

Remote, but with nearby supermarkets, cafes, restaurants.

A great California experience for us ( europeans) We will come back for sure.
