The layout, location, and proximity to the beach was perfect for our three generational family. We were close enough to the water to walk a few steps to the beach or sit on the deck and watch the grandkids build sandcastles and play in the water. Everyone had a good time.
It’s so beautiful! The sun set and the sunrise is absolutely stunning! The rooms are nice and master is huge! Lovely place y’all have ! I’m jealous!!!!
We all were very impressed with the aesthetics of the home and how large it is. Being directly across from the Gulf of America was phenomenal. Sunrise and sunset from the large second story balcony was delightful. The air conditioner kept the entire house chilled even during the heat of the day. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook and serve our hungry bunch. It was nice to have 2 toasters, an extra large electric skillet and crockpot to cook big meals. The location was close to a grocery store, donut shop, and gas stations. We enjoyed the Galveston Pleasure Pier, the Space Center, and the local escape room. It was a great family vacation!

The house was in a great location and was a very nice home but the cleanliness was not good when we arrived we had to put the trash out by the road so it could be picked up there was trash under a couple of beds. As far as the things listed to use the grill was nasty we had to go buy a grate to be able to use it plus put pans in the bottom for the charcoal due to the holes. We had to wash towels every day since there was only 1 per person and to do that we had to buy laundry detergent so having to wash towels every day on vacation is not good. Toilet paper had to buy not enough left same as paper towels.cleaning crew really needs to be looked at they are really not doing their job for what we pay in cleaning cost.
We had a great 4th of July trip here! There was a bit of confusion with our guest and bed count after booking, but the host was easy to work with, and so were we. :)If you're booking this house mainly to stay in and watch movies, keep in mind that the TVs are small and just adequate. You won’t get a full movie night experience, but for basic use, they’re fine. The ice maker didn’t work during our stay, but I didn’t feel it was worth complaining about. The store is right down the street, and honestly, I’m used to buying ice since built-in makers rarely keep up with demand in rentals. Tap water was fine too, though I always travel with a Waterdrop filter just in case.Beds weren’t the most comfortable, but comfort is subjective, and we didn’t spend much time in them anyway. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed: plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and bath towels (though bring your own beach towels!).Parking was abundant, and the beach is right there. You’ll get sand on your tires—it’s that close. The views are stunning and more than make up for the few minor inconveniences.A few tips for families: bring earplugs or noise protection for little ones during fireworks weekends. Our 8-month-old did great with ear coverings. Also, keep a close eye on toddlers around the balcony, as there’s no gate to block off the stairs. And because you’re so close to the beach, you may get the occasional rogue firework heading your way.
