We had a great time in Prudenville, and the lake house was nice, just not exactly what we thought we were getting. There were a few things that we wish we had known before our stay. There is a retaining wall at the lake's edge. Based on the photos, we thought there was a bit of beach that walked out to the lake. We brought our dog and thought he'd be able to get in and out himself, but he couldnt. We also thought, since there was a dock, that we'd be able to tie our pontoon out in front of the house during our stay, but the lake is so shallow in front of the house, we couldnt get anywhere near the dock. Instead we had to drive to a boat launch every time we wanted to go out on the lake. There were some hiccups with having necessary supplies on hand, but the hosts were very responsive and had them delivered while we were there. A lot of the kitchen wares were not as clean as I would have hoped for, but there were so many, it would be impossible to wash them all between every tenant. We just washed everything before and after we used it. Again, we had a good time, and this place is probably a perfect setup for a lot of people, just wasn't quite what we thought it would be.
