Casa Tortuga Ocean Park Villa
Casa Tortuga is back and under new management! This Spanish-style home is located on the best corner within the exclusive gated Ocean Park community: well within the access-controlled area, yet near the entrance and 24/7 staffed guardhouse, lending security and ease of access while being perfectly equidistant (2 blocks) to both the beach and the gastronomic center of Calle Loiza.
The spacious property is fully enclosed, including a separate living unit (casita), and features ample outdoor room
Spacious and sun-lit throughout, this home is surrounded by a full wrap-around patio with outdoor space in all directions to lounge and enjoy the Caribbean weather. Rinse off under the outdoor rain shower when returning from the beach through the separate private patio door entrance and enjoy a BBQ or al fresco dining beneath the shade sails.
A tropical garden, complete with the endemic plumeria tree and an abundance of vibrant Flor de Magas, Puerto Rico's official flower, surround all four sides of the house and envelop the outdoor dining balcony. A traditional Spanish fountain brings the scene together amongst authentic French-style terracotta tiles that span the entire grounds. All four sides of the property line are surrounded by high walls for maximum privacy and security. A two-car garage opens directly onto Santa Ana street.
This residence also features a detached guest house ("casita")--also totally renovated--complete with its own kitchen, living room, bedroom, and full bathroom. In all, with the guest house included, the house has five (5) bedrooms: a king-sized master suite with walk-in closet, jacuzzi, and shower, two more rooms located in the hallway (with a full bathroom), and a front-side room opening to the sun-drenched outdoor patio that can also be used as a living or lounge room to supplement the centrally located family room, itself elegantly connected to the garden-filled dining room + front balcony.
All the rooms and passageways of the main house feature exceptional marble flooring throughout and a total of eight high BTU inverter A/C units, which keep all rooms icy cool should you opt not to enjoy the Caribbean breeze.
Both kitchens (the main house and guest house) are fully equipped for extended stays. A dedicated laundry room is located behind the guest house.
Internet is provided by a dedicated fiber optic 1Gbps connection with battery back-up. A full-size diesel generator is on-site and includes an automatic transfer switch to eliminate power disruptions.
