Loved the place! Much larger than I expected and the location was perfect. Close to the subway and lots of nice places to eat nearby. I would definitely book it again.
Unit was very nice and the area is wonderful. Between Pro coffee, Basil Wood fired Pizza and the hallal markets we found many jewels right in the neighborhood.
The property overall was very well put together. The biggest challenge we had was only having one air conditioner in the main living area. The bedrooms were quite warm at night.
The apartment was immaculate, beautifully remodeled, and in a safe neighborhood. It’s super close to the subway, which made getting into Manhattan really easy. Jon was very responsive and made the whole process simple and stress-free. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.
We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean, spacious, and had all the essential kitchen amenities we needed. The neighborhood was peaceful and just a short, easy walk to the subway and all the main spots in Astoria. One note—the map location is slightly off, so it’s a bit farther than shown, but still very walkable.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Jon was outstanding in getting back to us anytime we had questions or were in need. Friendly quiet neighborhood. Clean bedding. kitchen was sufficient enough to make simple meals at the house. French press for mornings. The property has great location close to public transportation, public park and convenient stores. super great find! “The Barn” is right around the corner for fresh baked goods and yummy eats. Highly recommend this stay Thanks Jon we will be back.
This apt was exactly what we needed. We are from out of town visiting NYC. The place was spacious and spotless. The subway was a very short walk away. There were convenience stores and restaurants very close. I will look to book the place again! Thank you Jon for your quick responses :)
Great neighborhood. Has an easy walk to the corner store that has great bagel sandwiches. Walk to the subway line clear, making travel around NYC simple. It is summer and place has air-conditioning but only in the main area with no fans so stuffy in the bedrooms - if you have travel fans, bring it.Heads up, they changed the siding and it is light grey, no longer yellow. Also, something I forgot to look up before hand, no iron or steamer.

To begin, I would like to note that the space was visually appealing, reflecting the owner's attention to creating an attractive environment. However, there were several aspects that detracted from the overall experience and influenced my final assessment. Pictures & video to prove all points. This is a short version due to char limit. Clumps of hair were found in bed. The cleaner replaced the sheet in the morning. Second, several times during the night, the radiator in the master bedroom made a loud, piercing ping noise, similar to someone taking a steel object and hitting it. It was heard in the other bedroom as well and disturbed everyone’s sleep. The offered suggestion during my stay was to turn it off – not good considering the temp was in the teens. Other less concerning: There is slight mold buildup on the shower curtain. There were no face cloths, only the really large towels. I asked if some could be provided with the cleaner but did not get a response. Knowing I would be turning off the radiator, there was no offer for an additional comforter. The one there is really light. There was a baking sheet in the oven that was not cleaned. There was obvious oil left on it. The entrance/living room has beautiful flooring, but lacks anyplace to wipe your shoes if wet. Our visit was during snow time and it was frustrating cleaning the floor. The LED display of the stove does not work well, so it was challenging to operate the oven.
I would like a refund and requested same from the property owner how we they have decline my request. The property was in need of repair in many areas include the outside and there was a leak during our stay and 2 of the 3 beds were ruined from the gross rain water. The owner offered another apartment that he stated was upstairs and we could not utilize because it was upstairs. We rented a hotel space for the last 2 nights of the stay and the property owner still will not refund my money for the 2 nights we were unable to stay there. The siding around the sides of the structure as well as around the outside of the door was missing and splitting open. The light fixtures in the second bedroom leaked after a rain storm came and literally dumped water all over my daughter’s head while she was taking a nap. Within 20 minutes an additional light fixture was leaking as well and ruined the bedding for the second bed in that bedroom. I cannot believe they will not refund my money. This place was terrible! And the neighbor was not nice either. Would NEVER stay here again.
