BEAUTIFUL COZY VACATION HOME, IN THE HEART OF THE BRICKYARD & MILLCREEK COMMONS!

This cozy haven in MILLCREEK/SLC/ SUGARHOUSE, allows you to distance yourself from the fast-paced world and relax while still being surrounded by all the amenities. MILLCREEK COMMONS is kitty corner and a few minute walk, where you can enjoy ice skating in the winter and Roller skating and Water features in the summer, and a Rock climbing wall! It's within walking distance to nightlife, such as a Bar and Grill called Boomerang, a Sports Bar- Brickyard Bar and a Dance Bar- Liquid Joes and to the supermarket Harmon's and Brickyard Plaza, it's a 5-minute drive to Sugar House. A perfect stop between travels or to venture through the heart of Salt Lake City. Both Brickyard Plaza and Sugar House shopping center provide a large variety of shops as well as entertainment such as the Cinemark theater, and various restaurants. It is perfectly centralized to anywhere you want to go. Hardwood floors and wood trim give it a log cabin-style atmosphere. You’ll love it for the coziness and location. Excellent for couples, business travelers, families with kids, & groups. Your home away from home.
The Sun Room adorns a cozy fireplace and large picturesque windows, a large desk for any business traveler's needs, 2 futons, and room for an air mattress for larger groups. The large Kitchen & Dining room makes it an ideal location for your parties, family or friend reunions, or any entertainment.
In the front room, you'll find a TV and DVD player and a futon for those nights you just want to chill in front of the TV. Also, it is in a location that offers excellent WiFi with 100 Mbps of fiber.
Venture out to the ½ acre rustic backyard where you'll find a fire pit, barbecue grill, and picnic table. Also at the right time of the year, there are a ton of fruit trees and blackberries for your picking pleasure. Outside the sunroom has many fresh herbs for a Chef's delight.
With freeway access just minutes away, it's only about a 15-minute drive to the airport. About a 30 to 40-minute drive will get you to one of the beautiful ski resorts, Solitude, Brighton, Alta, Snowbird, Park City, Canyons, or Deer Valley.
Convenient Mass transit is available within walking distance that can take you to your convention at the Salt Place, Down Town attractions, or to your favorite ski resort.

We stayed for a week and had friends & family come for meals and visits. Great place for families- toys, kid & adult games & videos, plenty of space for different activities & sleepovers. The host was responsive & friendly. Great area of town for dining,shopping, & fun!

Utah Family Adventure

Such a cute space -simple and clean. Exactly what my family needed while we got to meet our brand new baby niece! I needed a room for my girls and a bathtub after a long day of playing. We got that and more here. Thanks!

He sent a text at 2 am complaining about bugs in the sunroom and wanted some money back. He was told we do spray the property (inside and out), but it hadn't been sprayed yet due to all the snow. We came in at about 11:30 am after he left, and there were more bugs than usual in the sunroom, but not enough to freak out about. The bugs were also in strange places that they are never in, such as on the (spread around) Jenga pieces. Also, there are a whole bunch of rooms in the other part of the house where they could have hung out if it was that much of a problem. No other guest has ever complained about bugs. They took off the cover for the black futon, and I have no idea why. They didn't use the sheets if they used the futon as a bed. They also used the master bedroom, so I don't know why they had to take the futon cover off unless there were more people than he had booked. There was a smell of smoked pot and cigarettes in the house. All drawers were left open and gone through in the utility closet. The bottom ones were broken or off track. The drawers in the master bedroom were left open. In the kids' room, the rug was moved. There were only two people, there was no reason for him to go through everything. I charge more for additional people because then you have to clean up after more people and they used the place like there were more people staying there. A pillow sham was thrown on the floor with the dirty linens. The bedspread was also used as a blanket. The pillow sham and the bedspread are dry clean only, and it is explicitly stated in the house rules that they are to be removed and not used as a blanket and pillow. The window latches in the master bedroom and the bathroom were left open, so somebody could've climbed into the window. The temperature was left at 79°, causing the house to be extremely hot when we arrived. The doorknob was locked, even though the rules state to not lock the doorknob, as guests are not given a key (We use a keycode lock). They cleaned up okay, but because of the futon, the drawers, the windows, the temperature, and the smell, it was unsatisfactory. All of this stuff is listed in the house rules, which they agreed to, but just didn't follow them.

Great place to work and ski

Super reasonably priced place within 30-45 mins (no traffic) of all SLC ski mountains. The kitchen had everything you need and the grocery store was within walking distance! Had multiple remote workers and internet never gave us trouble

Thanksgiving perfection

I could not have picked a better place to host Thanksgiving weekend for my family. The house was perfect and had everything I could have thought I needed. We had the best time. It was clean and well stocked for our family. We loved it. ..highly recommended!!

Great location

We travelled to Utah so my dad could have surgery at the U of U hospital. It was my elderly parents, my 13 yo and myself. Lynda was very helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. House was setup with all the basics. Would definitely stay again.
