Dear Kenneth, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback regarding your stay. Firstly I apologize that the building was undergoing a painting and some repairs during your stay. We were promised as owners there would be minimal disturbance to guests other than the parking situation. Arrangements were made for parking next to the building and were just temporary. The fact that this was an inconvenience along with the annoyance of the plastic on the windows I was more than happy to refund half your rental payment which you confirmed you received. I have a ordered new rug, a new chair (in place of the chaise to make more room), new outdoor chairs and screens as well as a deep cleaning to remove some of the items that tend to accumulate in the closet. The mattress is a Savvy Rest organic latex and does not contain the harmful chemicals most conventional beds have and has a 20 yr warranty. If a layer of the latex has to be replaced it will be done. The condo is small and most of my guests describe it as cozy and relaxing. It is as close to the sand as you can get in a condo!-just steps down to the beach. Again I apologize for the inconveniences you experienced and appreciate the time you took to provide feedback so that I can make necessary improvements. Hello, in response to this review I have to say I am a little confused since it is from an anonymous source. The location of the condo is clearly evident on vrbo and there is a map that guests can click on before booking their reservation. It is clear the condo is located on Fort Myers Beach. Also the person with whom I was in contact with during this time period was quite happy with everything and I had not received any complaints. I checked my text message thread with this guest and there was zero mention of any issues in the review- in fact the final text was thank you for everything we had a great stay. I am only learning of these issues upon reading review. However I am having my maintenance man look into the issues that were mentioned especially the light switch, which I had no knowledge of having any damage. I do replace bedding, umbrellas, chairs, kitchenware, shower curtain/liner on a regular basis. and most guests comment on how comfortable the bed is since it is a organic latex mattress with a Tempur-pedic adjustable base. Again I am a bit confused by this review but I am looking into the details of this so that if there are any issues to address I will do so. My goal is to provide a safe and relaxing home away from home where guests can enjoy all of the beauty that Fort Myers Beach has to offer!

We have installed a track with new set of closet doors, cable tech finally fixed the issues with the reception, the lamp has been fixed, kitchen essentials restocked, all bulbs replaced and plans are set to paint entire unit, replace screens and window tinting. Dear Tina, Thank you for choosing the Kona and for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your stay. I am so sorry to hear about the issues that made your stay unpleasant and regret that the things that could have improved your stay were not done prior to your arrival. The accumulation of rain/water is very RARE occurrence- only when there is a heavy rainfall in short period of time and then water drains/dissipates. The entire parking lot was paved with brand new pavers recently with proper drainage. I am sorry the timing of your arrival made this poor first impression. As far as the door, it is unique but completely functional and safe! It is tinted glass and there are curtains that can be closed for privacy. I do have max capacity at 5 but that would be considering 2 were infants/children. I will probably modify that to 4 based on your suggestion but I did not want to exclude a family that might have 2 little ones that require a crib. All of the light bulbs have been replaced as well as the patio chairs ( I opted for bar stool height chairs so view unobstructed by balcony railing) The ceiling fan is positioned over the coffee table which is not an area one would walk under but I am having it removed as a precaution based on feedback. You should have received soap and starter supplies and I am so sorry that was not the case. I now provide shampoo, conditioner and coconut soap from Island soap co in Hawaii. I apologize you did not have that. I enjoy enhancing and improving this little gem so I disagree with your statement that money is not put in. Of course there is always something that could be better and I take my job seriously when it comes to making sure the condo exceeds expectations. Regarding the showerhead I assure you it was not mold! After inspection it was determined to be lime/calcium/mineral buildup since it is made of brass. Upon reading our text message thread, my text regarding the disinfectant was specific to use for pool chairs! I provide sporocidin as per Covid hospitality guidelines and I was not suggesting that you clean the shower head with it but that it was there for your use for chairs. I apologize that was the impression. I offered for handyman to take care of (There is one on property) but did not get a reply. I am glad that you enjoyed the location and hopefully the beach and great local spots as well. All the best, Lisa
