The home was so welcoming, everything worked, we didn't have any problems with the ammenities, absolutely LOVED the screened in porch! Great location and will totally recommend this gorgous house to our friends and family! Our girl had the best birthday weekend!

We enjoyed our stay in this charming house. There was plenty of room for our family of four, and the kitchen had all the tools I needed to prepare Christmas dinner. The house was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this location.

Quaint, charming, and intimate. My wife and I spent a summer weekend here quietly exploring thrift shops, antique stores, city hall, restaurants, and coffee shops in Lake Charles. Located 5 minutes away from downtown, it was convenient and safe. Given that it was summer, the town was quiet and felt peaceful enjoying a slower pace. The Moss House is absolutely gorgeous: high ceilings, wood floors, natural light. We enjoyed coffee on the patio and wine on the porch. The home felt like it was genuinely that, a home. It felt lived in and real. Tasteful, and thoughtfully maintained, the house will hopefully stand for another 100 years. Thank you for allowing us to add our names to the guestbook. We can’t wait to return :)

Beautiful historic home that is lovely while being relaxing and cozy. The bed was comfortable, towels and bath products of nice quality. We enjoyed time in the enclosed back porch and the rockers out front. The location was perfect for a quick drive to shops, restaurants, and the lake front. Communication and check-in was organized and easy. We would stay again!
