Dated but Comfortable
The location was great, an easy walk to the beach. The under roof parking was a plus, but there were many steps up to the 2nd floor. The kitchen was well stocked. Most of the furniture was old, and the bed frames had many sharp corners. Also the dryer vent screen needs to be replaced. It was rusted through and lets lint enter the pipe. The carpet needs a good cleaning, but overall the unit was clean.

needs a remodel and updating BADLY
Master BR has a double bed but the 2nd BR has a queen bed? closet wouldnt close bc of a hanging ironing board--creepy for my daughter to sleep. CLOTH mattress covers were so worn, there were tiny hard fabric "pills' that could be felt thru our 800 thread count sheets that we brought (terrible sleep!) the assigned parking required driving under the building which was so low, our car antenna on our roof rubbed! if you have a large SUV you're maybe not gonna fit--we couldn't even open our rear litigate bc it would hit! thankfully OC was not busy & we found other parking. Microwave was a teeny hotel sized even tho a full sized oven with a straggly overhead vent existed.Hello! over stove microwaves are cheap! theres a strange faint mystery smell of urine (litter box?) that would come and go when opening kitchen cabinets & the stove is severely unlevel & trying to cook breakfast was a nightmare with food pouring to one side of my pan
Thank God! I brought my OWN cookware bc the cookware in the unit is DISGUSTING! There was leftover dried food on several pcs however I wouldn't have used them anyway! my camping cookware is in better shape than the nasty pcs in the unit! Kitchen cabinets were sticky gross greasy & looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the 60s!
Gross! AC seemed to have 2 settings: freeze you or sweat you. No elevator so if you're on one of the upper levels (ALL units are at least 1 floor up!), be in good shape to schelp your luggage up narrow stairways! Enjoy your balcony view of the hotel parking lot. Several blind slats missing in every room (broken, pcs were found in closets or behind the couch)--enjoy the blinding sun on the early mornings of your vacay! No deadbolt on the door! And the lock button is reversed! my son locked himself out twice! dont lose the PAPER parking permits during your stay, bc upon departure you'll be informed you MUST return both copies or you'll be charged. departure is BEFORE 10AM at THEIR RENTAL OFFICE! And they refuse to give you a receipt of confirmation that you checked out on time! I haven't had a problem thus far about my on time check out, but what's to stop them from saying otherwise? We made the best of our trip & the location is the ONLY redeeming feature. We tried to not think of all the negatives of this unit. It's a shame that people dont take pride in the place bc a simple overhaul & updating would make it a really nice unit but clearly they dont care bc people will fall for it & still pay

We are unsure where you got the notion that you will be charged for your parking permits because the parking permits for that building are thrown out after each use. We only list a lost item charge for reusable items like pool passes or laminated parking passes. And, of course, this charge is only applicable if the items are lost. The view from the balcony is included in the photos. We have never given out receipts upon check-out. Instead, we mark you out in our system as soon as you drop off your keys. If there is any question or someone is missed, we call you. We rarely charge a late fee, and even then it's only if someone is excessively late even after we contact them. As this does not describe you, there is no issue. We would love to help you find a place that better fits your needs for next year.
