Had everything we needed (althoufh missed a couple of very small things like salt and pepper!) but couldn't recommend this property highly enough. Well located, very easy to get to Ronda, great trip to graze Lena, amazing pool and great house overall.

Fabulous property, stunning views and friendly host

A perfect three night stay. The house is extremely spacious and convenient (all bedrooms are on suite!), the poolside garden is lovely and the outside terraces are perfect for an evening meal. Eugenio is a lovely host; as flexible as you could wish, friendly and talkative if you feel like it and always trying to help you get the best out of your stay (like providing a baby cot which was a great touch). Highly recommended!

Family Holiday

We had a family holiday in this wonderful villa. 13 of us enjoyed 2 weeks of fun, rest and relaxation. It is a very peaceful location and the local villages are a delight The villa was very well equipped, with air conditioning throughout. The swimming pool proved great fun for young and old alike The owner was most helpful and available at all times. We would certainly return at some point

Wonderful stay in the countryside

We enjoyed one week of holidays with a couple of other families in this nice country home. The house is spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The garden by the pool was the best, surrounded by a beautiful view of the countryside. It is fenced and this was important, since we had two very young children in the group. The air conditioning worked really well, we had to use it a lot since we had a heat wave for a few days. The barbecue is great and there is also a paella and a paella ring available. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. Grazalema and Zahara de la Sierra, two of the most beautiful white villages of Cádiz, are very close to the house. We enjoyed one morning in La Playita (very close to the house) and also did a nice hike by a nearby river. Eugenio was very nice and helpful. He came every morning to clean the pool and water the garden. We will not forget this wonderful holiday!

Beautiful modernized farm house surrounded by mountains and pasture. Perfect country relaxation.

Our stay was fablous. Any issues we had were quickly resolved. (Old converted farm houses always have some non standard features. You just need to know what they are.) The views of the mountains and the surrounding pasture land with grazing sheep and goats leave no doubt you are in the country. Relax. Highly recommended. The lovely property is a short drive from Grazalema one of the most beautiful pueblo blanco and 15 min drive to charming Ronda. The description does not emphasize this, but if you love cooking/eating on vacation you can't do better. The kitchen is well equiped plus the outdoor kitchen is exceptional: excellent grill, wood fired pizza oven (seemingly bottomless supply of fruit wood fuel) and a gas paella ring. There are good butchers in Grazalema and readily available local produce. The local cheese, payoyo, is one of the small number of Spanish cheeses with a DO. For fish Ronda has a good selection. Do not neglect the water from the local spring on the road to Grazelema. As good as anything in a bottle and free. The property has fruit trees so depending on the season pick pomegranates, lemons, pears, figs, and quince. There are some excellent restaurants in the area. I can recommend three as well worth a visit (most expensive to least): Bardal in Ronda, Mich. 1 star, reserve in advance, bring your wallet, mind blowing; Almocabar, also in Ronda; Sabor Andaluz in Alcala del Valle.

Para los que les guste mucho el calor

Hola somos una familia de 16 personas,que estuvímos en el mes de Agosto en esta propiedad. Es un sitio muy bonito para ir en verano, pero te tiene que gustar el calor, porque es una zona muy calurosa. La casa es preciosa. Es un Cortijo independiente y tiene todas las comodidades. Hay aire acondicionado. Tiene una piscina aunque no tan grande como en la foto.Los dueños son encantadores, no viven allí, por lo que estás "a tu aire" y se esmeran en todo lo que necesites. Todo está limpísimo y nuevo. Recomendariamos este alojamiento a familias numerosas como la nuestra porque la casa tiene gran capacidad. Aunque puede ir todo tipo de gente,que les guste hacer excursiones por la sierra de Cadiz y los Pueblos Blancos. Ronda, Grazalema. Zahara de la Sierra, Ubrique... Tambien están cerca las playas de Marbella y Cadiz. Sí no te gusta pasar calor es mejor que vallas en otra temporada. En Semana Santa , o en Octubre, Noviembre, se tiene que estar de maravilla. Hay una gran huerta llena de árboles frutales, tomates, etc.. que puedes coger y comerte. Y una parcela-jardín vallada gigante. Es una zona super-tranquila para desconectar del estress.. Para comer hay quesos extraordinarios que han ganado grandes premios en concursos internacionales. Queso payoyo. Tambien platos de caza.Gazpachos y Sopas. Para comprar, hay artesanía de la piel como bolsos, carteras, zapatos buenos. En definitiva nos lo hemos pasado muy bien.

Brilliant Holiday Rental in a Fantastic Location and a Great Owner

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful farmhouse. The weather was beautiful and the house has everything you could want. Plenty of room, a great pool and lovely outside areas with sun and shade to suit everyone. The kitchen is well equipped with all the comforts of home. We found the house very comfortable and full of character. The bedrooms are all ensuite and spacious. The owner is a true gentleman and was great with us from booking right throughout the stay. We'd happily stay here again and would recommend this location to our friends and family to stay. We stayed as a family of 3 but it could easily accommodate 12 or more with ease. It's not perfect but it is a perfectly comfortable and you won't be disappointed with its charm, peaceful location and ease of rental. One last thing the location is amazing for stargazing, near enough guaranteed clear skies and little light pollution make it an ideal spot to look at the night skies. Highly recommended

We went on a week long family holiday. We had a great time. Plenty of space and beautiful setting.

Would definitely recommend and seriously consider staying again. The owner was very approachable and courteous. Communication was easy and very efficient. The setting was beautiful and there is plenty of space for children to play and adults to relax.

old school spannish - fabulous

A big sturdy old school spanish villa with some beautiful features and doorways. The description was accurate. Our only problem was that we found it a bit hard to find - but then there might have been detailed directions on the website that we never found. The nearby village of Zahara was an unexpected bonus as was the swimming "beach" at the Lake and swimming in the reservoir. Absorbed our numbers well!

Wonderful villa in an amazing location

Perfect country home!

Our party of seven had a lovely stay in this charming home! Eugenio was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, the home was beautiful and the surrounding area was amazing! We enjoyed cooking in the wood oven every night, and hanging out by the pool when the weather permitted! I highly recommend this home.

Enchanting home from home

This house is really lovely, large and full of character. There were 11 of us and we had lots of room, we never felt that we were in each other's way and I think we could have easily accommodated more people. The kids loved many of the features - the loft bedroom became the 'crow's nest', they loved a fire in the snug area in the evening and exploring all round the huge garden area every day. The adults really enjoyed the outside seating areas with a glass of wine in the evening and we raided the vegetable garden for delicious ingredients. The location is beautiful, tranquil and great for exploring. We visited a number of white villages and enjoyed a day down at the artificial lake near Zahara where we felt like Tom Sawyer, but we always enjoyed returning to the villa to chill out in our own house which managed to be both vast and cosy. This is perfect for a relaxed family holiday; I hope to be back and will heartily recommend this house! thanks

Spectacular villa

Having rented more than ten houses in Andalusia during the last five years this is our favourite. The setting is fantastic and the house is very nice and well equipped without being too fancy. Five couples, some with kids, sleep comfortable and all have their on bathroom. The Grazalema national park is a hidden gem and is best explored from Huerta la Terrona. Great hiking, biking, kayaking etc. is nearby and Zahara and Grazalema are lovely little villages well worth visiting. The owner Eugenio will take good care of you and will do that little extra to make your stay memorable. We will come back again, for sure.

Geschmackvolles Landhaus - a hidden gem

Huerta la Terrona war ein Traum für unsere Wandergruppe. Wir verbrachten zu zehnt eine gute Woche in diesem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Landhaus. Nach unseren Wanderungen wollte niemand am Endpunkt noch einen Kaffee trinken, alle wollten nur "nach Hause" um das Haus voll auszukosten: Am oder im Pool, auf der Terasse oder vor dem offenen Kamin. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen: Wirklich vollständig ausgerüstete Küche auch mit Geräten, die man sonst nicht in einem Ferienhaus findet, z.B. Gefrierschrank oder Mixer. Ein eigenes Grillzimmer mit Grillkamin, Holzbackofen und gasbefeuerter Paellapfanne. Zwei offene Kamine mit genügend Feuerholz. Die Dekoration ist geschmackvoll und persönlich. Wir hatten das Gefühl, Eugenio hat dieses Haus liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet, um auch selbst darin zu leben. Eugenio tut alles, damit sich seine Gäste wohlfühlen. Er hat uns z.B. sehr geholfen, die Trekkingpermits zu beschaffen. Da das Besucherzentrum auf Mails nur schleppend reagierte, ist er persönlich hingefahren, um unsere "Autorizacion" zu besorgen. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben! We had a great time staying for a week at Huerta la Terrona! It was the ideal vacation home for our group of 10 friends. We've been hiking every day but in the afternoon everyone wanted to return to enjoy the house to the full: just relaxing or taking a swim in the pool. In the evenings we had a fire burning in the fireplace or tried our luck baking a pie in the wood baking oven. The amenities of the kitchen and living area are outstanding: A big freezer and a second fridge on top of a fully equipped kitchen, wood barbecue and wood oven in a separate barbecue room, gaz heated large Paella Pan. Two fireplaces with plenty of wood, tasteful and unique decoration throughout the house. Eugenio helped us a lot in organizing the trekking permits. Thank you for a great time, I would have loved to stay longer!

Wow what a lovely property, the photos on the website really dont do it justice. The house has been renovated beautifully, making it comfortable but still charmingly rustic, the outside kitchen with its wood fired pizza oven and BBQ was great fun and kept us all entertained for hours and the huge paella pan and burner was brilliant. Fantastic, a truly memorable holiday

This is a gorgeous, rural property with excellent facilities for our group of 15. It was extremely clean and well maintained and has been lovingly restored by the charming owner Eugenio who couldn't have been more helpful. We were a group of 7 children and 8 adults and at no time did we feel cramped or on top of each other.The Kitchen/sitting/dining room is perfect for entertaining and chilling and the outside kitchen with Pizza oven, BBQ and paella ring was great fun. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely with powerful showers and we never ran out of hot water which is pretty impressive considering the size of our group. Every room is air conditioned which is a must in July and August. We were all a bit concerned that the pool wouldn't be big enough but it was fine and was kept immaculately clean by a man who came daily to look after it, water the garden and take away our rubbish and replenish the wood for the pizza oven. We had no idea how lovely this area of Spain was, totally unspoilt, with charming white villages and stunning countryside, I don't think we heard another English voice except our own. Grazalema is lovely with everything you need, lots of lovely places to eat and drink and the most amazing municipal swimming pool in a fort overlooking the amazing views. I could go on and on but to summerise.... We had a fantastic holiday and couldnt recommend this property and the lovely Eugenio more highly.

My sister Blanca and myself, Eugenio Guerrero, bought this beautiful property in 2007, when we moved back to Spain from EEUU after living in Florida and California since the 80´s. This project was my mother's dream, to have a countryside BB, she was a GM of hotel in Marbella, our home town.
I am running the business and Blanca should enjoy me very soon in 2019, She is living in the LA area and works as a CA court certified interpreter.
I live here in Grazalema and also in Marbella, my home town. I play golf (Marbella golf club) let me know if you get golf sick.
I am 58 years old and take my business seriously, I speak english so we won't have a problem communicating. We appreciate your business and we will try our best to make your stay in our home the best one posible.

Well, Because is located in a piece of heaven;
Relax, privacy, tranquility, peaceful, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the sound of birds and sheeps and the best views to the Grazalema ribera, the "puerto las Palomas" and the mountain peaks of the Grazalema Natural Park, that would be the setting while having breakfast or relaxing with a glass of wine by the pool.
Take a look at the photos, your closest neighbor, a shipper, is 300m away.

AIR CONDITIONING! I would not rent a place in Andalucia inland without AC during summer time, it can get hot enough and you won't be able to take a siesta or else. Very important, believe me.

Awesome Grill Room, Big barbaceu and a wood oven, make your own breads, pizzas, roasted pigs (cochinillos) and lamb chops!
There is a paellera for 14 persons

The Cheese! if you like cheese, the Sierra de Cadiz cheese makers have won over the years the top medals in European and world competitions. The best cheese I have ever tried, "Payoyo" from Villaluenga, if you like chaines you will go crazy around here, if you like to eat well this is heaven.

Let me insist the well situated this villa is in Andalucia for Day trips.
We are in the heart of Sierra de Cádiz y Serranía de Ronda. Villages like Grazalema, Zahara, Montecorto, are only a 10 minutes drive.
Ronda, Setenil,Ubrique, Algodonales-15 to 25 minutes drive.
Sevilla, Marbella, Jerez- 1.15 hours away.
Cádiz, Granada y Córdoba are about 1.45 hs away.

A nice place to relax, surrounded by beautiful Andalusian villages and well located in the middle of Andalucia for Day trips.
