Welcome to Waterworks Lake! Nestled on the edge of a beautiful nature preserve, our spacious 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom home offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Just a short hike from your doorstep, explore a serene trail leading to a peaceful 10-acre lake, ideal for nature lovers, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiasts.

This inviting retreat features two master suites on the first floor, ensuring privacy and convenience for guests. The family room, complete with an electric fireplace, provides a cozy gathering space for relaxation after a day of exploration. Enjoy friendly competition in shuffleboard or air hockey in the game room or unwind on the patio with outdoor dining options, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco.

As the sun sets, gather around the outdoor firepit, where seating invites you to share stories and create lasting memories under the stars. Plus, with the famous Ark Encounter just 5 minutes away and the Creation Museum only 45 minutes away, you’ll have the best of both nature and adventure at your fingertips.

Whether you're here for the Ark or to immerse yourself in nature, our home is the perfect sanctuary for your next family vacation or group retreat!

Please note that we do charge a $20/person/night fee for parties over 8 people. We do this to keep our prices low for smaller groups that want to stay with us. Please let us know if you have any questions.

We use an electronic lock that generates a special code for guests to access the house.

We have security cameras looking over the front and backyards and one doorbell security camera.

This is a beautiful home in such a peaceful setting. We had 9 adults stay and had plenty of room to spread out. It is also child friendly. So many games and a nice big yard to run around in. Kate is amazing ing! She was very quick to answer any questions. We will definitely return with our grandchildren.

We had a small little problem at check-in that was more than generously handled by the host. The house was extremely clean and generous in size for our party of 6 adults and 6 children. We enjoyed going for walks around the neighborhood and the kids loved the large grassy yard, catching lightening bugs at night and making s'mores by the fire. Great home away from home.

Excellent property 5-10 min from the Ark. We had 11 people 6 Adults from 4 families and were extremely comfortable. Host was amazing with communications and recommendations truly making us feel right at home. for how great the house was, the firepit for smores was the highlight of the property to me. Great time! Highly Recommended.

Awesome facilities! We had 12 men from our church stay during the men’s conference at the Ark Encounter. There was plenty of space and lots of places to hang out. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was immaculate. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The stairs are steep so be aware of that but there is a sturdy handrail. Host was always quick to respond and very helpful. 10/10 recommend this host and place.

This home was perfect for a multi-generational family stay for a wedding at the Josephina. The main level bedrooms are perfect for parents and grandparents, with the lower level ideal for the teens and "adult kids". The space is very well laid out, perfect for lounging and spending time together. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities all over the home, plus needful items in the bathrooms and kitchen. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was exceptionally clean, cozy, and very well maintained, with a thoughtful layout that made everything easy and comfortable. A lovely, well-maintained house that accommodates extended family. Giant sofa downstairs allowed all 9 of us to comfortably watch a movie one night. Very close to Ark Encounter. It was a most enjoyable stay.

The property was Perfect! We had 8 adults, 2 kids - 9 and 6, 2 babies - 11 months, 9 months.We used the fire pit area, grill, outdoor space for family pictures, table for family meals and games.Conveniently located to the Ark. Host was very responsive to any questions. Would visit again!!

My family, along with my brother’s family and our parents stayed at the house for a long weekend during spring break. We chose the area to visit the Ark Adventure. The house was perfect for our stay. We had great weather for much of the trip. The house offers multiple outdoor spaces. We loved sitting by the fire in the evenings. We also loved how close we were to the lake and being able to walk down to the water. The house has a nice basement for the kids. Communication with the host was great. She quickly responded to any questions that we had. We hope to stay again in the future!
