Property Overview:
GROUND LEVEL A complete performance and wellness center: brand new Peloton treadmill, Hydrow rower, a cold plunge held at 37°F, free weights, yoga equipment, and Sonos sound for training to your own soundtrack.
MAIN LEVEL Where the house gathers. The chef's kitchen was outfitted by one — everything sharp, heavy, and ready. It flows into dining, then a living room where the marsh does the decorating and a 75-inch TV with surround sound handles the evenings: cinema-grade for movie night, one tap from your phone for everything else. The deck is one step away. Two large seating areas hold the whole party, one converting to extra sleeping when needed, and a queen bedroom and full bath round out the floor.
UPPER LEVEL The king suite with en suite bath, two bedrooms with two queens each, a bunk room sleeping six, a full bath, and its own laundry. Premium linens throughout. Guests tell us, unprompted and often, that they sleep better here than at home.
EXTERIOR The acre earns its keep: a lawn that has hosted everything from crab boils to vows, a fire pit, a Traeger, a fenced yard on every side but the marsh, and dogs warmly welcome. Mine run the place, so yours will feel at home. A cowboy pool cools you off today; the in-ground saltwater pool arrives in September, with a hot tub and sauna behind it. This house was bought with a dream in mind and is not finished improving. Every stay moves it forward.

Guest Access:
This listing is the Main House. The Garden Suite below keeps its own entrance and its own listing. Yours: the main and upper levels, the grounds, the dock, the gym, the decks, and the gate code. Most weeks, you will have the run of the place.
Should the Garden Suite ever be booked during your dates, you will hear it from us before you arrive, never as a surprise. On the rare overlap, amenities are shared or held for you in private time slots, yours for the asking.
Prefer the Full Estate? Ask before you book and we will add the Suite at a rate that makes it an easy yes.

Interaction with Guests:
As present or as invisible as you'd like. We're minutes away and rarely needed. Codes, check-in details, and local recommendations arrive before you do; fast answers follow you through the stay. The property is built for coming and going without a single hello, and we take no offense. But if you want the best breakfast on the island or the right hour for the dock, message me.

Other things to note:
THREE WAYS TO BOOK This listing is the Main House: the main and upper levels, sleeps up to sixteen. Want the entire estate to yourselves? Book the Full Estate. Traveling as a couple or small family? The Garden Suite is your fit. The whole collection lives on my Host Profile..
PRICING One rate covers eight guests. No guest fees beneath that, no surprises. Nine through sixteen adds 100 per guest, per night; sixteen is the ceiling here. Pets stay for one flat fee per booking; a whole pack costs a little more. Weekdays run gentler, longer stays earn a discount. Military and teachers booking ahead: say so, and the rate says thank you.
CELEBRATIONS Events are hosted exclusively through the Full Estate listing: the whole property, one party, nobody else on site. Weddings, bachelorette weekends, reunions, birthdays with a zero in them, arranged end to end with a vendor list built the hard way.
Write before booking; events are approved in advance, with their own fee and guidelines.
THE TIDES High tide brings the water to the dock. Low tide sends in the herons and fiddler crabs. You're not missing the water; you're seeing the other half of the show.
THE ASSURANCES Smoke detectors throughout. First aid stocked, water rescue gear on hand. Cameras outside only — never inside. The same small cleaning team, every stay. If maintenance ever touches your dates, you'll hear it from us first.
ALWAYS IMPROVING We're always improving something on the property, and timelines shift. If an amenity is essential to your stay, ask before booking and we'll tell you straight. The guest experience gets better because of it.
A LOWCOUNTRY NOTE This is the South, and the marsh is gloriously alive. A professional pest team treats the property regularly, but nature doesn't read the service contract. If a bug wanders in from the wild acre outside, that's the habitat, not the housekeeping.
OUR STANDARD If it's reasonable and we have notice, we'll find a way.

This home comfortably fit 14 people. The indoor and outdoor space are beautiful. It's a very easy drive to historic Savannah or the beach. Host was communicative and very helpful.
This location was perfect for my family gathering! The host is kind and friendly. Great amenities and extras provided at our stay. Family dog enjoyed herself as well. Picturesque location with short drive to downtown Savannah! Family stated they would Absolutely stay here again!
We loved everything. The host was very nice and detailed. It really felt like a friend offering their home to us while he was away. Clean and smelled clean but not chemically. The views were also amazing. We were able to see the sunrise, gorgeous! Thank you again and we hope to stay again in Jonathan's property.
Host was the best! Checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Great view from the dock. Loved drinking coffee on the back deck in the morning. Highly recommend
Its a big older house. Made for a lot of people. Its a split level and the bottom half was rented to another couple when we stayed. They had guest and utilized the dock the entire Father's Day. The dock is very tidal meaning the property only has water a few hours a couple times a day. The pool is a little kid wade pool should not be noted as property offers a pool. We have stayed at much nicer properties for more reasonable prices. Kinda felt catfished on this rental.

Edward,
While we welcome feedback, this review is disappointing—especially as we have 100 5-star reviews across all platforms and you’re one of the very few to raise such concerns.
It seems you didn’t fully read the listing or view many of the photos, so we believe your expectations may have been off.
Yes, it’s a large home, but not “old”—built in 2000 and recently updated. We even have some of the most modern features in the area, think solar panels.
The split-level layout and shared outdoor areas are clearly noted in the listing and communicated again 5 minutes after booking.
The dock is tidal, as described—guests often love the natural rhythm of high and low tides. The stock tank pool is shown accurately and comfortably fits 4–6 adults for relaxing, not swimming laps.
You ignored some of the house rules and check-in instructions by arriving well before check-in while our team was still prepping.
Throughout your stay, it was hard to get a response from you. Had you reached out, we would have gladly addressed any concerns.
We were surprised by your use of the word “catfished” to describe our listing. We take great care to present our home honestly and transparently, and most guests feel exactly that when they arrive.
Hosting 6 guests on the water for <$200 p.p on a Friday night is exceptional value—nearly impossible at any waterfront hotel.
We appreciate your stay and sincerely wish you the best.
About the host
Hosted by Jonathan Bosch
Vrbo insists this box is about me. So:
Raised in my family's bed & breakfast in the Netherlands. My childhood bedroom had a room number. I carried the luggage. The toilets were mine too.
Then a decade at the top of sports & entertainment, learning what world-class looks like.
'Huis' is Dutch for home. Bosch Huis is exactly that — a home is only as good as the people inside it. That part is you.
I still carry luggage. Old habits. Good ones.
Message me when you land. I already know a place.
Why they chose this property
Cross the bridge to Wilmington Island and the pace surrenders first — Historic Savannah ten minutes behind you, Tybee's sand ten ahead, and between them the tidal marsh, working boats, and live oaks older than the state. Dolphins ride the incoming tide; the sunsets take their time. I chose the geography. The quiet came free.
What makes this property unique
There are marsh views in the Lowcountry, and docks, and pools, and places near Savannah. There is almost nowhere with all of it at once: a private acre behind an estate gate, a working dock with kayaks below and dolphins passing, a saltwater pool, a sauna, and both Savannah's squares and Tybee's beaches ten minutes out. The house holds a group without crowding one; the grounds hold a wedding without becoming a venue. And every object inside was chosen, not ordered — collected over years for guests to actually use. Plenty of properties have a view. This one has a point of view.
