Welcome to this coastal country home ~ This spacious home is nestled on 4 private acres less than 1 mile from Clam Beach State Park, Highway 101 and the Eureka/Arcata Airport(ACV); it's in Mckinleyville. Enjoy the peaceful, private large yard with tall trees bordering Strawberry Creek. Enjoy the sounds of the ocean from the yard. This home shares the property with a small business that has regular working hours. Property is family friendly. We look forward to hosting you at our place. Family Friendly

Property was very comfortable, safe (behind a locked gate) and the host was very nice and answered my many questions quickly. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy and house was clean. Perfect for our needs for a family birthday party, everyone over 60.

This was absolutely the perfect place in every sense of the word! Both the home & property were so warm, spacious & comfortable & we felt very well cared for. It was evident that there was a lot of thought put into making it feel like home away from home for their guests. Just about everything you could think of was provided & plenty of it! My daughter had her small wedding ceremony outside in the front yard & everyone enjoyed the openness yet privacy of the layout. We will always cherish this place and all of the different needs that it was able to accommodate for that special day. It had a large master bedroom & bathroom & plenty of closet spaces/dressers/desks to unpack everything & just settle in. Craig was a wonderful host, offered additional assistance & clearly communicated any info we needed as well. He gave us 100% space & privacy & our entire family truly appreciates his kindness & generosity! I could write a book about all the wonderful details so I hope you get to experience it for yourself...hands down, 10 stars :)

I would have loved a dish towel to wipe my hands vs using paper towels all the time! Loved the little pan to make scrambled eggs! Loved that u had cinnamon salt and pepper. Cinnamon running low! Great front yard for frisbee, football, volleyball etc! Glad u had balls! Fire pit was great! Loved clam beach a mile away! Kids loved seeing some banana slugs!!! Lol. Loved our outing to Fairbrook winery s’mores by the campfire great too!

Great location walking distance to Clam Beach. Convenient to grocery stores. The property is beautiful . We had fun with he basketball hoop Volleyball court and fire pit. The kids enjoyed finding all of the banana slugs. The great room was large enough accomidate our party of 10 comfortably.

dream vacation

Our stay at this property was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The highlight for us was the wildlife getting to see deer up close was an unforgettable experience. The house itself was perfect it had everything we needed and more. It was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, making our stay incredibly relaxing.The check-in process was seamless, and checkout was just as easy. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway. We would also definitely come back for another stay. Truly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
