Atlantis (anciennement "Getaway South") présenté par Luxury Beach Rentals à Myrtle Beach SC est une magnifique maison en bord de mer de 7 chambres 7. 5 salles de bain avec une immense piscine, un bain à remous et une piscine pour enfants. Cette maison offre une vue panoramique sur l'océan depuis presque toutes les piÚces. La maison dispose de trois suites principales en bord de mer, toutes avec balcon en bord de mer, salle de bain privée (avec douche à l'italienne et pulvérisateurs corporels). Toutes les chambres ont leur propre salle de bain attenante et une demi-salle de bain commune au niveau principal. La maison comprend également une cuisine gastronomique avec une grande cuisiniÚre à gaz, deux réfrigérateurs, deux lave-vaisselle, une machine à glaçons autonome, un ßlot et un grand bar en granit. La maison a un grand pont supérieur ouvert et un grand pont couvert au niveau principal avec coin salon et haut-parleurs extérieurs. Il y a aussi une grande salle de jeux avec table de billard, table / chaises, grande télévision à écran plat et grand balcon hors salle de jeux. La superficie en pieds carrés de la maison est d'environ 5700. La piscine mesure 30 pi x 10 pi et 3 pi à 5 pi de profondeur.

This was the perfect property for us to enjoy with friends. The house was well stocked, clean and had plenty of space to enjoy. The hot tub was great! Would highly recommend and will stay again.

The house was beautiful, inside and out. the view and access to the water was wonderful. We had a slight hiccup with the heating of the pool & hot tub, but since the first 2 days were rainy and cold, it actually worked in our favor. The only thing that I felt needed some attention is the gas stove. the knobs don't all work (stripped out?) but we were able to use one knob on two different burners, so we had no problems preparing our food. There were 2 outdoor gas grills, but we never used them. Nice to have that option though. There were beach chairs and a few beach toys there for our use, which was a nice suprise. We had a large group and I believe everyone was very happy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was pristine and located in a very private neighborhood. The property management company communicated well by text. The pool water was very hot and the spa was very cool. Unfortunately, we did not find the pool refreshing to enjoy. Two days before we left, there were some pool issues; after they were addressed, we realized that prior to the work, somehow the heat for the spa had been reversed to the pool and vice versa. Paying for property with pool and not being to enjoy until the last two days was quite a disappointment.

We rented the house for a weeklong family reunion, and it was perfect! The big kitchen and open floor plan was so nice for everyone to be together. Having a bathroom for every bedroom was superb. The beach was lovely and never even remotely crowded.

Wonderful Family Vacation

There were 12 of us plus one infant for the week. The house is in an excellent location away from all the crowds. We had a private boardwalk to the beach right outside the back door and the beach in front of the house to ourselves. We got beach set up every day from a rental place down the beach and that was great. There were a few minor issues with missing kitchen items that we needed but the property manager brought what we needed immediately. Be aware that you have to pay extra for the hot tub to be heated. During the hot day, there’s no shade by the pool so plan for that. Beds comfortable and everything was clean - some kitchen cookware needs replaced but not everyone cooks as much as we do when on vacation. The spaces were great and perfectly adequate for our group! Comfortable and excellent for a family vacation!

Filthy.

Dirty towels mixed in with clean ones in the dryer. Dirty sheets on 3 of the beds and got charged a 375.00 linnen fee!! Floors filthy. Chairs at both dining tables filthy. Missing cupboard pieces. Kitchen sink wouldnt shut off. Dirty dishes in the cupboard so you needed to wash items befor you could or wanted to use them. Dirty towels folded up and put back on rack in master suite..Felt ripped on pool table. Security gate leading off the deck was held in place with duck tape! Many missing boards around fencing in pool area.and the pain in several places around the pool is severly chipped and someone it is sharp. After a couple showers the hot water hecame non exsistent. Contacted management company about the pool, that i paid to have heated and was not, they did refund my money for that I contacted them about the rip in flet on pool table amd the missing cupboard piece and they dos offer to send aomeone oit. I said i was just maki g thwm aware so i wouldnt be blamed for damage. Upon checking out i called to talke about the filthy condition of the house. Managment lady said she'd "get back with me" and she never did. Such a raquet to be charged 375.00 for a linnen fee and have dirty linnen. This property needs a face-lift and cleaning. Definitely NOT "luxury" whatsoever!! Kriste Hobbs One diah towel in the kitchen. OnE.

Family Thanksgiving/Christmas Vacation

The location was great, and the house looked amazing from outside. On the inside it was very spacious and plenty of room for everyone and everyone had their own space. The downsides were the pool not being heated after I paid extra to have it heated so our family could enjoy the pool and kiddie pool if they didn't want to use the hot tub. We also had issues with the water heater when everyone took a shower. Not every room in the house had hot water and we had to call the Property Manager to get this fixed and they had to send out Maintenance on each issue. The Pool was never resolved, and they offered to refund our money, and they managed to fix the shower hot water in each room. All things that you are hoping not to worry about when this is the only time of year you get to see your kids and grandkids all at once. There were also issues with some of the locks not wanting to work properly or lock at all and it was a concern with the grandkids. The showers were a little sketchy as some of them looked like they had black mold in them, and we bought shower spray to spray the showers down while we were there. Knowing this is a rental property we knew there were going to be some issues or things we couldn't control. Overall, for the view of the beach and sound of the ocean we would definitely stay here again. For the issues we had and the cleanliness of the property we are doubtful to make this property our every year vacation house.

Amazing beachfront in Myrtle!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned from a week in Atlantis in Myrtle Beach. The first thing I'll comment on is that the location is superb. The property is situated just south of MB State Park, along a stretch of about 1/2 mile of beachfront but with only 18 houses on that frontage. Thus, very uncrowded beach and no getting up at 7 AM to "stake your claim". House is very nice and spacious, with 7BR/7 bath (all ensuite), though master has a separate closed off sitting room that could really be used as another BR for a kid. Fantastic and LARGE pool, separate toddler pool, and hot tub. Really great and spacious/shady porch. The views are incredible and obviously, you're paying first-row premium but very much worth it here. We had a few minor issues that needed attention early in the stay and Luxury Beach Rentals was responsive via email in about 1 hr. Can't say enough about the management team, really superb. We'd 100% return to this property!

Beautiful home

This home is amazing. The location is great. Right on the beach. The pool was great. The layout of the home was perfect for a big family with young kids. Very open and airy. The back deck spanned the whole house and kids were safe to let run around on it. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it needs updating. The kitchen had 2 refrigerators and an icemaker but the kitchen supplies were minimal and old. The trash cans had no lid so flies would get in them as well as our 1 year old’s hands! The indoor couch and outdoor couch probably could use a replacement as well. With a few minor updates, this place would be perfect.

Family Vacation 2024

We were satisfied with the "overall property" and location. Our biggest disappointment was the management company said certain items were resolved prior to our stay were not (these were issues that were in a recent review prior to our stay). We did have an urgent issue that needed addressed and did not get a timely response. This necessitated a purchase to address the issue. In addition, we paid for pool heat and know that there were at least 3 days it was not heated. The issue was not caught the first time someone came out upon our complaint, and it took a water leak to actually have it fixed, 3 days later. There were items that should have been at the property and were not. I do not believe our expectations were unreasonable given the amount of money we were spending for the property.

Very nice in general. Furnishings are getting a little tired. Pool was a nice amenity for the kids.
