Cette magnifique maison personnalisée offre vraiment l'une des meilleures vues de Colorado Springs dans le confort d'un espace contemporain bien conçu. Sentez-vous un monde à part, immergé dans la nature, à seulement un mile du célèbre Broadmoor de renommée mondiale et à seulement 10 minutes du centre-ville. Cette maison est un chef-d'œuvre architectural avec des lignes fluides et épurées dans l'espace de vie principal qui fusionne la nature avec la décoration intérieure. Utilisant du verre du sol au plafond et une ouverture de porte pliante de 10 pi par 20 pi pour une vie vraiment intérieure / extérieure. Vous ne verrez une maison comme celle-ci nulle part ailleurs à Colorado Springs. Vues imprenables et spectaculaires, et tout ce bel espace de vie au sein de milliers d'acres de randonnée dans un espace ouvert littéralement juste derrière la porte arrière.

The view from this unique home is exceptional and so very peaceful. Rose & Ryan's home is well appointed and has a wonderful ambiance to it. The two days we stayed in the home were extremely relaxing and I was talking with my cousin about how perfect this home would be for a family getaway. I would recommend this home to my friends and family for future rental. Communication with Rose & Ryan was fantastic and timely. I so enjoyed spending my birthday relaxing in their home. This was our annual family trip to Colorado Springs and this property is by far the best one yet! From the amazingly beautiful breathtaking views to all the comforts of the home including the beds, the hot tub, heated floors, and even a bidet in the master bathroom was a plus. The host, Rose, is very sweet and very responsive. She was available 24/7 for any questions we had about the property. We highly recommend this home and host. We can’t wait to visit again! The property is beautiful, very spacious and well furnished. The only complaint is that the property does not have central heat and air and the temperatures reached 80 plus degrees while we were there. The bedrooms were very hot and we did not sleep well. There was only a mini split unit in the kitchen which did not cool the whole house. We asked about it and were told that they bring in seasons portable air conditioners but only in the summer months. It would also be helpful if they provided a welcome book with a manual on how to operate everything in the house.

Incredible house in the canyon!! Beautifully built and designed, the beds are comfortable, rooms are cozy, kitchen has everything you need. The photos of the views don’t do it justice! Best parts of the home are the Views, next to open space for walking/hiking, and the open concept floor plan. The living room & kitchen is very open; plenty space for a large family to gather and hang. We enjoyed the Beautiful views & expansive deck. Very cool, unique place. Drawbacks- the tv didn’t work (lost remote control). No home manual on how to operate the iPad home control center, shades. fireplace, etc. Plenty of beds for sleeping but some rooms felt small & cramped. The bunkbed space looks a closet. Parking is minimal/tight. 5 star review for the views, open floor plan for a large family/group in living room, kitchen & deck. Unique property.

The hosts were very welcoming and any communication with them was addressed pretty quickly. The spaces were all great from the great room to the bedrooms to both decks, and the views were wonderful. The host had decorated for the holidays, which was very appreciated. On the downside of things, for all the detailed instructions provided regarding both check in and check out, I was surprised to find none in the house regarding operations of things. It would've made for a smoother first couple of days. Make sure to check out the zoo! It was a gem!

We loved the house. It is in a convenient location and had everything we needed and beautiful views.The kitchen had everything pan or utensil we could need to cook our meals. There are plenty of nice towels and pillows and blankets. The hot tub was perfect. (I bring my own test strips.) Parking is very tight. Also there is a one lane road going up to the house and when anyone is parked along it your vehicle gets scratched up by brush on the other side. We found it easier to use the road just to the east which is more accessible. The only improvement I could suggest is to sand down the countertops and sides of the wood beams that make up the bed bases. We splinters when wiping off the wood countertops on the island by the sink in the kitchen and when stepping too close to the wood bed base in the back bedroom. Just a couple of things to be aware of but definitely will not keep us from visiting again! This home is beautiful and well thought out. The artistic vision with which it was remodeled is incredible! The hosts are amazing and very good at communication. If they ever want to sell we are interested! We can’t wait to return!

The house is beautiful and the views are spectacular. The only Complaint that we had was the cleaning of the house. The refrigerator had not been cleaned from the last people and we had to wipe it down. We were picking up crayons and cereal off the den floor when we arrived. I would stay here again but the cleaning team needs to do a better job

We stayed at the home while having a wedding for our daughter at the Pinery on the Hill (15 minute easy drive from the house). The open kitchen / dining room / kitchen area was great for my family to have meals together with the fantastic views of the foothills and open space around the property. Was great for morning coffee before heading out for some wedding events. Only had a couple minor glitches while staying there. The deck fire pit was non-functional, and the soaking tub in the master had the drain components disassembled. Also found some of the outlets in the kitchen did not work as well. Communicated the fire pit issue to the property manager / owner, but they were unable to fix while we were there. None of these issues though really impacted our enjoyment of our stay. My family loved the views, the deck, the hot tub, the speaker/tablet setup in the family room, the espresso machine, and commented on the good comfort of the beds. There are only 4 tight places to park cars at the home, and no parking on streets around the property as it is a tight neighborhood. It was not an issue for my family as we had 4 cars only. Also, for the bedrooms, there was one room of 2 bunk beds attached/Walk through to another bedroom. And one bedroom is a loft area in the home's center, open to the bedroom hallways. Hope that review helps you make a decision. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again if the opportunity came up.

Beautiful view surrounds you. Kitchen was very well stocked. My family enjoyed hiking the trails right off the property. The home was conveniently located. VRBO sent via email the WiFi network and password. However, it was not correct. Completely different and very frustrating to communicate to owners. AC in two bedroom not working correctly along with a breaker flipping. However, Rose was able to resolve the situation on day two and WiFi was resolved late on day 1. It would be very helpful to have a manual with instructions ( which has been suggested in other reviews) so we wouldn’t have to bother the host. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, spacious, and offered stunning views that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. The deck was definitely a highlight—perfect for sitting outside, taking in the scenery, and enjoying the weather.Communication with the property manager, Rose, was excellent. She was responsive, helpful, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish.The only drawback was the parking situation. The home is tucked back in a neighborhood with narrow streets, which made maneuvering and parking larger vehicles somewhat challenging. However, if your goal is to unwind, enjoy the view, and spend time on the deck, this is a fantastic place to stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it.

BEEEUTIFUL, SUPER COMFORTABLE HOUSE W/SPECTACULAR VIEWS!

We were a group of 7 adults (multi-generational) and we all really had a good time at this house. The great room is very welcoming, the kitchen is clean and very well equipped, all the bedrooms were super comfortable, clean and welcoming....everything in the house had been carefully selected and was of good quality. The surprize feature was the wonderful upper patio which had plenty of lounging furniture and the most stupendous views! There are incredible, easy hikes around the house, and it's just minutes away from shopping. Would we return - yes we would!

As the homeowner, Ryan Whitten, of The Cañon Retreat Vacation Home, I am excited to share the comforts of my home with you. I love travel and adventure and have often preferred staying in home rentals when traveling with my family so it's an honor to create a home away from home for guests. I was raised by a master carpenter and now am a master carpenter myself! My passion for creativity is displayed in the fine work throughout the entire home, from the large dinning wood table, to wood counter tops ....even the master bed frame was designed and built specifically for this Cañon Retreat!

This property is magical and when Ryan first came across it years ago, he knew there was so much potential to amplify the space by integrating the natural landscape into the presence of the home. Ryan has such an eye for design and knew working with the large timber beams in the Great Room, this place would be a real treasure! Backing up to open space and trails...anyone can see why he jumped to the opportunity!

Unique benefits? There are so many! Imagine a private hot tub and Japanese tub! Really fun features for kids like a cool ladder to the loft. In the Great Room, you really feel connected to nature with the dramatic floor to ceiling windows and wide-opening patio doors to the wrap around deck and incredible views of mountains and cañon. The spacious rooftop deck allows you ample space to connect to nature with breathtaking views and Murphy beds to sleep under the stars!
