The place was great. The sunroom, the skylights, the covered porch/patio, the hot tub. We were celebrating my birthday and when we arrived, there were balloons, streamers, and even a birthday card. The host was very attentive during our stay. The beds were a little firmer than I would’ve liked. The host was receptive to my comments and will work on making the beds more comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Hot tub not working. All the cups, glasses and dishes are not clean. We have to wash them but no dishwasher detergent. Master bedroom sink was very dirty. I give 3 stars because the manager company was very response any text or phone calls quickly and nice. After 16 hours long trip we expect to relax and clean, instead we have to be on the text and phone calls for hours to dealing all the issues. If not all those issues I would give it 4.5 stars. It’s very nice unique house.

Excellent property!

Located in the perfect spot in Colorado Springs and close to all the attractions, like Garden of the Gods and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. House was clean and very nicely decorated with all the needed amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Wedding Getaway

We loved our stay at this house. This was great for our family of 7, all of us came from out of state. Easy access to highway, downtown, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs. Great layout, jacuzzi, deer joined us in the morning and stayed around, awesome sun windows and many extras.

Great place to stay during a winter storm!

We definitely weren't bored even though the town sort of closed down for a winter storm. Shuffleboard, cards & the hot tub kept us busy during our down time. Clean home and everything you need for a few days stay. Close to restaurants, grocery store, shops. Overall, a great stay for 1st time in CO Springs!

Birthday getaway

Wow! The pictures do not disappoint. The house is beautiful, and I love the sunroom. We had all the amenities we needed; the house was perfect for us four girls and we had so much fun using the hot tub and the indoor shuffleboard. I love the "welcome" sign in the kitchen. The home was beautiful! We have a family of 8 ranging from ages 3-18 and it accommodated all of us! The home was cozy, the hot tub was clean and the house was well stocked with whatever we might have needed for the weekend! Would definitely be coming back to it!

Amazing communication

My family was impressed with how fast and patient our host was to respond to all our questions. She maintained great communication our whole trip. She really was the best host I’ve yet to cross paths with! I definitely recommend booking here! Perfect location and incredible Mountain View. We hope to book here again one day!

As described!

Property was as described and we had a great time. The communication from the property manager was instantaneous and helpful, even late in the evening. They have soap/shampoo, dishwashing detergent, coffee pods, and a small array of salty snacks for when you arrive. They were able to accommodate a late checkout for a very modest fee. We would stay here again.

Perfectly Described & Located!

Hello - his home is really nice. Perfectly described and it's location is great! Just a few minutes to downtown, few minutes to Garden of Gods, easy to get to highways, and walkable to Old Town. We had deer in the yard... nicely done, super host! haha :) Only things renters need to bring are some Tide pods and a case of water!

Fantastic spot

This was a great find for us: spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, well-equipped kitchen, dining table suitable for family meals. We loved having morning coffee in the sunroom watching light hit the mountains. We enjoyed the shuffleboard game and hot tub and appreciated having laundry facilities. The location is perfect: between downtown and Manitou Springs, around the corner from an organic market and supermarket, near shops and restaurants and the highway. Clear and friendly communication with host; we had no problems that needed to be addressed. Will definitely try to stay again if and when we get back to Colorado Springs.

Good stay, almost great.

Great communication with management company, overall good looking property with plenty of room and amenities. A couple of hiccups during our stay that kept it being a perfect 5 start stay. For starters at arrival the sliding closet door fell in towards my mother and hit her when she tried to slide it open, the kitchen is beautiful but lacks stocking...there were empty salt and pepper containers and the microwave would not turn off unless unplugged. The master bath only has a small stand up shower, not as big as pictures make it, there is a tub in the shared bathroom and the other is a half bath. There is a shuffle board to play on as well as puzzles and games. The back yard is a good size, however we were unable to use the hot tub as the bar to lift the cover was broken. All in all an ok stay and easy to commute area.

The great escape

We really enjoyed our stay. As a family of five it was important to us to have space. The hosts were very considerate. There were many amenities that were for us to use such as pack-n-play (which we didn’t need but someone might.) fun games for the family. Shuffle board became a new game we enjoyed learning to play. The home was clean. We saw a beautiful mule deer and her babies come by several times and we enjoyed looking and watching out the window. We liked the secluded parking in the back. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. The suggestions for the restaurant were nice to have. The home is located in an up and coming part of old Colorado city. Thanks for accommodating our family.

A vacation we won't forget

I cannot adequately describe the outstanding and excellent customer service that the host of this beautiful property provided, and how it was everything we had hoped for with our first Vrbo experience and our first time visiting our son for parent's weekend at the Air Force Academy! It was his first time leaving base since June and we wanted a cozy, spacious and comfortable place for him to stay since he has been living in a military dorm for the past few months. This home was exactly as pictured in the advertised photos and was stocked with all of the items you could need as if you were in a hotel. We had deer visit the property each morning and it was absolutely majestic! The property's location was ideal, and the only negative was that we couldn't stay longer! We plan to be regular guests of this particular host who would receive 10 stars from me if it were an option! We are so grateful for such a serene and peaceful stay with hot tub amenities to boot! Thank you from the bottom of hearts for providing such a lovely home for us to create more family memories!

Beyond my expectation

Our daughter is stationed at Ft Carson and my husband and best friend all flew out to Colorado Springs to visit her. She loves her daddy's gumbo, so we brought some ingredients from home, much to our surprise, we didnt need to bring a thing! The house was totally stocked with anything you needed. The Hottub was awesome as we used it one night, we were in such Awe over the deer just walking around right outside of the door. The house could not have been in a?better location as we spent alot of time at Manitou Springs, & rode the Cog Train, which is a must do, Kaitlyn answered any questions right away. The mountain views from the front and the side of the house were breathtaking. Im a Southern girl from New Orleans & love the beach, this definitley was a whole new wonderful expierence for me, we had no traffic and the house was so comfortable & spacious, not to mention the detail in decorating. I really hope to make it back out there, as i would not even attempt to rent another place, but this one

Family vacation stay

Our family stayed at the property for 5 nights (two adults and three kids). Check-in was very easy and communication was great. It was a spacious place, and nice to be able to spread out in various areas. The kids had a blast with the shuffleboard and hot tub. Location-wise, it was close to a lot of attractions, which was super convenient. We went to the local King Sooper's up the block when we arrived into town and were a little thrown off by a guard at the door and locked public bathroooms. Initially was concerned that the area we were in was a rough one, but we had no issues whatsoever. Close to Colorado College for dining out and wandering around. The home is older, but nicely updated/remodeled with nice decor. The only "negative" part of our stay was some areas appeared to be missed from a cleaning standpoint. Dust bunnies behind doors on the bathroom floors, dusty blinds, stained carpet areas in master bedroom. I reached out to the property manager to let her know and they offered to come and fix, but I told her it wasn't necessary. Certainly don't expect a place to be perfect, but just things we noticed.

the worst experience in decades

Home owners showed up unannounced to the property, investigating some construction and acted surprised we were there even though our car was clearly visible. Listing was inaccurate as it promised a garage which was under construction when we arrived. Communicating with the property manager was like texting with a bot. We kept receiving random responses that didn't match our inquiry. The house was 62 degrees with no clear way to adjust the heat and after hours of freezing, finally figured out the heat was controlled remotely, by the property manger. The neighborhood was questionable with abandoned cars and a bonfire gathering next door. We left after only one night and still waiting for our refund.

Perfect place for us

We really enjoyed the house and the location! The house was wonderful. It was well stocked with everything we needed, the owners thought of most everything! We really enjoyed how the house was laid out. It had separate areas to watch tv, eat dinner, sit in the sunroom or play shuffleboard. We really enjoyed the indoor shuffleboard. There was also a nice screened in porch. The location was perfect as it was easy access to get to all the main attractions. The ONLY reasons we did not rate it 5 stars was because of the hot tub and the beds. The hot tub was the reason we chose this rental over others. When we first took off the cover, it had a terrible musty smell. We have a hot tub ourselves, so we asked management if we could use the chemicals in the outside bin to treat the water. They were very responsive and said yes. We treated the water which eventually helped but we could never really get the control panel to work on a regular basis. The jets didn't always work, the light never worked, and we could not adjust the temp. It was never warm enough to use for the cool Colorado October weather. Through everything, management was very responsive and friendly. The only other thing was that the beds were VERY firm and not real comfortable for any of us. However, we still LOVED the house and will for sure stay here again next time we come back. Hopefully next time the hot tub is working!
