Arbor View is a four-bedroom vacation home in The Galena Territory — a 6,800-acre private recreational community six miles outside historic Galena, Illinois. The property sleeps up to 10 guests across four king bedrooms and a lower-level sleeper sofa. Three en-suite bathrooms and one dedicated private bath adjacent to the fourth bedroom mean every guest has their own bathroom. No shared bathrooms, no morning rush.

DOG POLICY

Arbor View welcomes up to two hypoallergenic dogs with a $150/dog fee. Breed and size must be disclosed at the time of booking. Dogs are permitted on the main level of the home only. No other pets. Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage and for proper disposal of all pet waste.

• Minimum renter age: 25 — primary renter must be present for full duration of stay
• Rental agreement and photo ID required within 48 hours of booking

This house was great for our last minute trip to Galena. We’ve never stayed in the Territory and were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was! The rooms were great, although one of the mattresses was not very comfortable, and having 4 full bathrooms was amazing! The pool table was so fun, and the hot tub was a nice way to relax! Hot tub towels right by the back door, and plenty of games to enjoy. Overall we’d be happy to stay here again.

We have been coming to Galena for years. We had a great time. The home was set up beautifully. Loved the spacious rooms and table for playing lots of cards. The home also had the perfect setup for a bon fire which we took advantage of. Relaxing at the end of a crazy day in the hot tub was a plus. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, and of course there were turkeys walking by. Look forward to hopefully coming back soon.

From the moment we stepped into the house we felt so comfortable. The bedrooms were a nice size and the bedding was comortable. The screened in porch was perfect, unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use the hot tub but it was nice to have it as an option. Everything we need was there and everything was clean.

This was a great spot for a large group. We had 8 adults and it was ample space. Well stocked kitchen- we made 4 meals there. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and even a fireplace! We greatly appreciated that Brian allowed a later checkout due to a weather event overnight. The only two things to note- the water is likely well water so if you’re planning to use the beautiful tubs, just be prepared that the water is orange-ish. And there is a 500 security deposit that made us a little nervous as we hadn’t experienced that with vrbo before, but we did get the deposit back within the week of checking out. We would stay again!

The house was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The host replied quickly to any questions we had. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our group of 10 and there were plenty of paper supplies throughout the house. We had plenty of room to enjoy meals and family time together and yet still get some quiet time if we wanted it. The hot tub was delightful and the back yard was peaceful. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Galena!

This property had all the extras that make it stand out against other properties. Water so hot we all mentioned it, deck with a woodsy view, pool table that is set up away from walls, roomy living room, fans and smart tvs in the bedrooms, etc. Check-in process was smooth and check-out was a breeze. Had an amazing time. We travel to Galena every 3 years for a family reunion and this was the best home we have ever stayed in. It was clean and very well appointed. A couple of us are women of a certain age and the powerful air conditioner was very appreciated. There was plenty of space for our family of 9. Hoping to lock it down for our 2028 reunion.

Exceptionally clean, spacious and well furnished home. Highlights for our group were all king beds, top drawer hot tub, quality pool table. Kitchen was well equipped, big frig, bar sitting in addition to dining table. Comfy living room seating with large TV. Lots of window for natural light. Close to Eagle Ridge general store and the General golf course and restaurant. Great communication with the host! A keeper!

Dubuque/Galena friends get away

The property listing was very accurate. The house had plenty of space for four couples. It had plenty of gathering space for everyone and also space if you wanted some private time. Each bedroom had a bathroom which was great. The kitchen had everything needed for easy meal preparation. The surrounding area was very beautiful. We were 25 miles from Dubuque and 9 miles to Galena. We would highly recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful and comfortable home

We rented this home for our annual family weekend get together. We truly enjoyed our weekend and this place made it very special. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was incredibly well supplied. Everyone thought the beds were great! We spent our mornings upstairs having coffee in the screened porch and our evenings downstairs in the beautiful basement playing games and visiting. The home is perfectly decorated and very clean. Brian and Johnny are the best hosts!! We all want to return here next summer, best house we have ever stayed at!

This home was immaculate inside. The photos certainly do not due it justice. We were 6 older women who went there to play golf, do crafts & cards. Everything was 5 star from the openness to the decor. Loved it! The beds were so comfortable. We had a little trouble with the TV at first , and when I texted them ..the help was immediate. We hope to return here every year from now on . Thanks again!
