What a lovely tiny home. I enjoyed my stay in this peaceful, rustic sanctuary that made me feel a part of history and nature. Sharon herself was a delight. I have a knee injury and didn’t want to risk the loft ladder. Pullout couch was quite firm, though, so I might bring my own mattress topper next time I stay. Lots of cute shops and places to check out in Centerville.
The location was easy to find using Google maps. Sharon was lovely. She met me when I arrived. She helped me carry in my many bags. She showed me where everything was and how to use it. The loft is probably great for someone in good shape but I knew that going in. It was just me and my dog so we slept on the pull out couch. I assumed correctly the water was from a well so I brought some bottled water to drink. It is drinkable but has a well water taste. The cottage is heated through geo-thermal heat and Sharon will warm it up or cool it down for you. She lives in the house connected by a breezeway (mud room) to the cottage so if you need something just call her. I had a great time and my dog loved the fenced in yard.
We had a dog with us and he totally loved the freedom he had on the farm. Sharon was the perfect host. She welcomed our extended family to visit us during our stay. She also let the grandkids swim in her pool and even let us borrow a life jacket for one of the kids. We hope to be back on the future!
