About John Bronson
John and Ann Bronson - Have been in the Northwest 35 years. We raised our family in the Everett area where we owned and operated a local business.
John Bronson purchased this House in 1982
Why John Bronson chose Lopez Island
As a pilot flying out of Whidbey Naval Air Station, I was continually taken back by the remarkable beauty of the San Juans from the air. We found this exceptional property and built our vacation home and have loved it ever since.
What makes this House unique
We believe you will find this an exceptional vacation value. The setting is very private with outstanding views. Deer come through our property nightly and bird life is abundant. Eagles often are seen on our beach.

Great house, great location.
We really enjoyed our long weekend. The house had everything we needed and made for a great relaxing getaway.
I've lived on Lopez Island and explored several vacation rentals on the island... and now I only come here. The best view on the island and owners who care about the quality of our stay :D
Awesome location and great islnd culture -- and wine
This house is literally right on the beach from where you can watch the ferries go by in the distance, the weather change hourly, just R E L A X. Nothing beats a warm hot-tub on a cold and windy day! We were lucky to be there over the Thanksgiving week with two small grandkids and the annual "lighting of the town" local festival was a highlight thanks to the super friendly locals -- complete with what they called their "hippy parade" ;) A short visit to the Lopez Island Vineyard was worth the stop, as was hunting down a nearby self service farm stall for fresh salad ingredients.
Great location on the quiet side of the island.
Good value and very relaxing.
One of our favorite places
We returned to this special place, and it was as great as we remembered it. The house is wonderful - we love cooking in the gourmet kitchen, eating on the deck, relaxing in the sunroom - but the location steals the show. The views from the house and deck and the opportunities for exploring the water's edge are magical. Our only disappointment this fall was the burn ban, since we loved using the fire pit last time. I guess we'll have to come back. It's a marvelous place for enjoying lots of Lopez adventure (hiking, biking, kayaking for us), as well as for watching birds and relaxing "at home!"

So glad you enjoyed you second visit to our home. You are always welcome back.
This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. Close to the ferry - it's a 2 mile bike ride. Across the street from an oyster and clam farm where they sell fresh shellfish and sometimes they have fresh salmon and halibut. The house is comfortable, has a hot tub on the beach that we used every night. Lopez Island is dark enough that you can see an amazing array of stars. The owners maintain the house perfectly. It was well stocked with all the kitchen equipment you would ever need. We would stay there again, in a heartbeat!
I am very pleased this worked out well for your group.
Thanks for staying at our home.
