Location: Swift’s Bay On Lopez Island In The San Juan Islands, Washington State.

Enjoy a very private setting with expansive views of Swift Bay, Thatcher’s Pass, ferry traffic and the Cascades from our special home.

The all cedar great room has a vaulted ceiling with comforting furniture, fireplace, large screen HDTV, Bose surround sound and uninterrupted views that leads to its own large deck looking southeast. The gourmet kitchen has Viking, Bosch, Miele and Subzero appliances. The imported granite countertops and sitting area lends itself to gourmet or casual cooking.

From the great room enter a stunning sunroom with fireplace, sitting and dining areas. Outside you will find a built-in infrared barbeque, separate outside sitting area, spacious hot tub (could be unavailable in late fall and winter) and outdoor speakers. Enjoy 240 feet of private beach while gathering around an evening fire in the fire pit surrounded by natural log benches.

The large master bedroom has a separate deck looking Northwest to the ferry terminal and Spencer’s Landing Marina.

Downstairs is a guest bedroom and a separate office area with a Murphy bed. (Wireless High Speed internet throughout).

Relax in our knotty pine loft with separate TV for DVD Movie watching while overlooking the eastern San Juan’s.

The home is wonderful for one or two couples to enjoy a special vacation in the San Juan’s. We will do everything possible to make your experience extra special.

A great vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the the Bronsons. The location is really tough to beat and is a great exploration launching pad for the island. We loved Shark Reef point, and please do not miss the unpublicized gem of a beach at Watmough Bay. The fresh oyesters, clams, halibut, and salmon daily just across the street were amazing. We got 10 days of smoke from Canada but still left happy. The kids loved it, the hot tub was relaxing, and we even accomplished some crabbing. If there was a major reccomendation it would be to facilitate activities a bit more by providing some added tips for crabbing setup etc... There is no boat of any type provided and it is difficult if not impossible to obtain even a small rowboat on the island. We were forced to crab off of the pier at Odlin Park. Would have been nice to have a paddle boat or rowboat availble for use. Thank you for the great overall experience. We will definately look to return in the coming Summers.

Summer Vacation June 23rd thru June 30th

We spent a week at this house and loved it. The house is located on the water on Lopez Island. We found the house to be clean and well stocked. You can sit out on the deck and watch the ferries come and go with your cup of coffee. There are lots of things in the area to keep you busy. John the owner of the house was great to work with. If your looking for a great vacation house with amazing views and laid back atmosphere, this is the place. You won't be disappointed. Thanks John, we loved it.

A little gem on the northside!

We have been to Lopez island before and stayed in a couple of nice vacation rentals.

This property however does standout. It's location is so unusual and very desireable.

The home is very comfortable and well maintained. The house is on a isthmus . You are surrounded by water both in the front and back of the house.

We rented some paddle boards and a kayak .At high tide water comes way up and it's just fantastic to go out with your boat /boards.

It was gorgeous sitting in the hot tub and looking at the gorgeous vistas . John called us before our trip and gave us great tips about how we should plan since we were

headed out the on a Memorial Day weekend!

We would love to come back to this property. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us!

Breathtakingly beautiful and cozy even in peak winter

My wife and I stayed there over Christmas break with another couple friend and our 10 month old daughter. The house is not only prettier than even the pictures suggest, the view and the private beach are hauntingly beautiful. We had a wonderful time there. Dealing with John (the owner) and the property manager and housekeeper was very easy and they were very responsive to all our little questions and doubts. I would gladly stay here again.
