Clean, great location. The only negatives are minor such as pull on the door handle when locking and unlocking and the wifi password in the email is not correct but the correct one is prominently displayed on the refrigerator. We plan to use this again.
Perfect location down town.

Horrible, Stressful, Check-in Process, Lousy VRBO service - Great Condo
After driving from Denver and skiing New Year's Day at Steamboat on day that set records for crowds, we purchased groceries and planned to relax in the condo. Instead, we were locked out due to the wrong access code given by the owner through the VRBO messaging. For two hours, we called and left messages, texted, and attempted to email the owner for the correct access code. We attempted the emergency number provided (which was really only for plumbing and other issues), and they directed us to a property management company on Snapdragon Way that wasn't even used by the owner, so they couldn't help us either. It was 24 degrees out, snowing, Rabbit Ears Pass was a mess, and we had no place to go. We called VRBO, (Ref #24670948) and they also attempted to contact the owner to no avail. Finally, VRBO suggested we find another room on our own for the night!!! What a joke! The closest lodging for our party of 5 was 25 miles away. And we were supposed to "hope" that it would work out by the next evening? VRBO's lack of participation in helping us satisfactorily resolve the situation with new lodging was completely unacceptable. THIS IS TYPICAL OF ALL EXPEDIA-OWNED business entities. VACATIONERS BEWARE!!!! Fortunately, the owner did eventually text us the correct code. So two hours later, we entered the condo after the five of us sat in the car for two hours trying to figure out what we should do. Thus far there has been no compensation to us for a terribly stressful New Year's Day evening start to our vacation.
The owner provides a lot of information on the listing, along with detailed instructions, but most of the critical items were entirely inaccurate. In addition to the wrong room access code, the WIFI name and PW provided were incorrect, though we later found the correct ones taped to the side of the refrigerator. In addition, there was no mention of the parking pass in the instructions, but we found it on the fridge as well, and assumed it was to be used when parking in spot "A5" (which is really just marked "5"). The email we sent to the provided address bounced too.
The unit itself is lovely, exceptionally well-stocked, in a convenient downtown location, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. We strongly suggest that the owner work diligently to provide accurate information, be available/accessible at check-in time, AND provide a LOCAL contact for lockouts. A cleaning person surely would have been able to assist us.

Place is clean and location is fantastic. Walk to anything downtown.
Had some odd issues (wrong door code given, two different checkout times listed, pile of loose boards with nails sitting in living room, and a toilet stopped flushing) but property manager was responsive and none of those issues were a big deal.
Wow !! A one star! We had a pipe break and two things where not cleaned up!!! I am sorry that’s not deserve a one star rating! Don’t call us!!!! Never heard one word from you about any problems!!!!
This is the second time we have stayed in this condo in Steamboat. It is warm and cozy, well-decorated, and has one of the best well-equipped kitchens we have seen. We love the location and enjoyed this home for our Thanksgiving holiday.

2. Front Door Lock: Is a code lock that you will acquire when prior to your arrival. Make sure when you leave the apartment you hold the door tight Press another button..then check to see if the door is truly locked by trying to open the door.**** Remember we are downtown…with many transient people around. Always lock the door when you leave the apartment.

5. Parking for our unit. We are allowed one space. The parking space is # 5. If you arrive and our space is taken, please call the Tow Truck. ( American Towing 970-879-1179) This spot is belongs to Unit A 5 only. Other cars need to find parking off the street. Many areas have meters.
6. Our cable company is Comcast. If you have a problem with the cable please call 1.800.COMCAST.

8. In regards to bathroom towels:
In the master bathroom the top three shelves have tan and
Green towels. These are to remain in the unit at all times.
The bottom shelf has towels for the river or the hot springs.
9. If you leave the condo or are going to sleep please make sure that all candles have been blown out.
10. Please, do not open the windows where the air conditioning vents are located. These windows have been screwed shut so that the apartment has complete security.
Please use the air conditioning whenever you wish. However, when you check out please turn the units on off.

1. Bus stop which takes you up to Mount Warner skiing or up to the Steamboat Recreation Center Hot Springs/Gym. Go out the front door, turn right, go down steps and go right to 8th Ave.

B. Creek side Inn.. 131 11th, 970-879-4925 has every kind of eggs Benedict imaginable.....walking distance..go west on Lincoln to 11 Ave. Cross Lincoln. Creek side is on 11th Ave just north of Lincoln on the left side of the street. Always a wait.
C. Winona’s 617 Lincoln Ave, (970) 879-2483 has to die for homemade cinnamon rolls, delicious baked goods and wonderful breakfasts. Always a wait.
