Why Candace Prince chose Port St. Joe
The Cape is part of Florida's 'forgotten coast.' Everyone in the area is friendly and helpful. Stop in at the Trading Post and you will see. The beaches are uncrowded, the sunsets are spectacular and the stars at night are uncountable because of their numbers. At any moment you may see porpoise swimming off shore. The waters are clear and emerald green. There is fishing and scalloping in St. Joseph's Bay and lots of opportunities for freshwater fishing in Wewahitchka or 'Wewa' as the locals say. The best seafood you'd ever want to eat is just minutes away. Its an outdoor lovers paradise and the perfect place for families to spend some quiet, relaxing and enjoyable time together without cellphones and all those other gadgets.

Blessing was beautiful. Right on the beach. Not to crowded. Great place for the family. Beautiful sunrise's and sunsets. It was everything I expected.
The weather was delightful and the sunsets were gorgeous!
Blessing is a well-maintained property with the exception of: rusted latch on lower deck; broken spigot handle on hose; repeatedly lost signal on most TV channels. The common use beach front stairs on both ends of the complex are damaged beyond safe use. My older adult husband needed help from a neighboring renter to use the stairs.
I have contacted our maintenance crew about the latch and spigot so that they can be replaced. I have also notified the HOA of the issues with the common use beach stairs. Unfortunately, the back to back storms this month have caused more erosion. It's a constant problem for ocean front properties on the Cape with the erosion crisis that the county has neglected for years. As owners, we rely on our guests to notify us of any problems and we appreciate the feedback.
Nice relaxing spot!
While it was a little windy on our visit, there were lots of movies and puzzles. Lots of touches of home for cooking, etc. We look forward to coming back to visit. Nice and clean....comfy beds. What more can you ask for. Love the beachy decor. Appreciate the boogie boards in the box downstairs and the umbrella we used for shade. Overall very nice and relaxing!
The property is quite nice, the location superb!
You would need a boat to get closer to the gulf! If a "crowdless" time on the beach is what you are looking for this is your place. We will return often, hopefully.
Gem on the Gulf
We enjoyed staying at Blessings very much! The condo was clean and right on the beach. Only two minor things - no ironing board and keurig coffee maker didn't work. However, they had a drip coffee maker there and it was fine. You can't get any closer to the beach than this! We highly recommend it.
Now that we have been made aware of the missing ironing board, we will provide another. We will only provide a drip coffee maker going forward. The Keurig machine has been quite disappointing.
Blessing was the perfect place to celebrate our 35th wedding aniiversary.
Blessing is a beautifully decorated well maintained home right on the beach of Cape San Blas. It is probably the cleanest home that we have ever stayed in at the Cape. We stayed in October 2016 for our 35th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. The weather was beautiful. There were breathtaking sunsets every night. We ate all of our meals on the table and chairs off of the beach front deck. Since it was our anniversary it was only the two of us, but the house could sleep six comfortably. We will never forget our anniversary at Cape San Blas. Thank you so much for all the extra touches that make Blessing so special. Lynda and Steve Madisonville, KY
