Fortunately, we had the wonderful opportunity of participating in an episode of the HGTV show Beachfront Bargain Hunt, which Flip Flop Fever is featured in. The episode covers the story on my search for the perfect beachfront/oceanfront property and I invite you to come stay in my perfect piece of paradise--Flip Flop Fever.

The sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean surround you in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. You can watch the dolphins play just a couple hundred yards away, take in the enormous cargo ships as they glide the edge of the horizon, watch the shrimp boats catch tonight's dinner and smell the sweet saltwater air all from the comfort of your own private balcony and from both the living room and the master bedroom in this condo. Enjoy these scenes from a cozy sofa or queen bed with a handmade Tybee Island driftwood headboard, while dozing off for an afternoon nap after a morning stroll along the sandy shores. There are stairs to the 3rd floor and no elevator is available, but I feel the climb is worth the view.

In past years, I have rented condos at Tybee for my family, and I was often disappointed in the presentation and the bare minimum preparation. I have gone to great efforts to make my condo exceed your expectations regarding supplies and items throughout the condo. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishes, pots/pans and accessories you would need to prepare a Sunday meal or brew a quick pitcher of iced tea to sit on the porch and enjoy sipping throughout the afternoon. I am a big crockpot lover, when I’m visiting the beach. It’s so easy to throw something in the crockpot before heading out to catch some rays and when you return – lunch is ready! There is a large crockpot available for your use.

A high-powered telescope located in the living room, allows you an up close and personal view of the sights and sounds of Tybee Island, Georgia and Hilton Head island in the distance. Watch the dolphins play, see the fish jumping or peek in on the kite boarders that frequently entertain us with their presence.

The bath linens are of exceptional quality, soft and comfy. I have left plenty of bedding for your convenience and there is a pull-out sofa in case you bring more friends.

I really believe it is the small touches that make someone feel welcome and relaxed. My goal in decorating this condo was to create an environment that is conducive of a relaxing beach vacation. A true home away from home feeling that will keep you coming back for more.

The community is private with gated entrance and offers 2 pools and a kiddie pool. There is also a small area with swings for the children. BBQ grills outside the pool area and tennis courts across the street as well.

I invite others to share in my enjoyment of the Atlantic Ocean and hope that their vacation at Tybee Island, Georgia will leave lasting footprints in their lives for years to come. I love this condo and I take pride in my little piece of paradise and would ask that everyone do the same and treat it as your own home.
